I think the regular M3 version will be good. It has slightly more articulation than the prototype.

    Also grabbed blue Monger today.

I've resisted thus far from buying any of these, but after seeing the movie I'm strongly considering picking up a few. Too bad most store's selections have been picked over. Maybe I'll swing back by Wal-Mart to pick up "War Machine" before he disappears.

Also eyeing some of the old Toy Biz Iron Man figs from the mid 90's. After some reading and FCBD Saturday I'm kinda on a Force Works kick. May track down some of those animated Avengers figs too.

Due to the movie's success there are no Iron Man toys anywhere just the Super Hero Squad. I hope WM will restock soon I have yet to see a War Machine and I really want to get two (one for my brother). Any chance one of you can help a collector out?

Loved the movie. Now I want a 12" one...no eletronics that will hamper articulation...the only gimmicks I want, are the folding airbrakes, and hidden missle compartments...and flare launcher...that would be awesome.

When Jarvis was trying to help Tony decide what color to uses, the Repulsor Red shows up for 1 second!

Prototype armor is kind of close to how Tony looks near the end of fighting Iron Monger...

After I saw the movie I couldn't help myself and picked up the Mark 3 one, now I want 1 and 2 as well. :D  Haven't seen either of those around though.

are there variations on the iron monger? someone mentioned "blue" monger at the top of this page. Im assuming thats the Chestpiece color.

what are the other variations if any , and which one is rarest?

That bulky Ironman that comes with the SHS Hulk (in hulk toy section) is pretty sweet

The first version of Iron Monger had red where the the newest version has blue (eyes, chest, and two little circles near the waist). I think in the long run the red one will be the rarest. I was actually going to buy the red version Saturday but didn't feel like spending $10 on a figure that has only a few paint changes and is less accurate than the blue version.

I saw the red version once and haven't seen the blue at all. I skipped the red that one time because I want the more accurate, action-featureless wave 2 version (w/Obadiah nougat center). I was hoping wave 2 would hit before the movie, but since it didn't really, I just preordered wave 2 Monger from BBTS to spare me the aggravation/gas money. Hopefully Titanium man is easier to find or shows up/stays on HTS a little longer since he's not in the movie.

I wanted to grab blue Monger a couple of times but all the ones I've seen have weird stress marks inside the blue plastic.

At this rate you will be broke in no time Wreckgar. I will feel sorry for you if they release as many exclusive versions of the Iron Man movie as they did with Transformers.

Haha that's actually pretty cool. How much did it end up costing, if you don't mind telling?

If someone needs some of the general retail figures, I could probably help. I saw plenty of everything on Saturday. Of course, that's also leaving a week for them to get picked over. War Machine is definitely gone though, as are both of the ones I had. Decided I'd start with a mainline figure instead of Rhodey.

Is the Mark Three Armor and Stealth/War Machine pretty easy to find?

I know the latter is a Wal-Mart exclusive. Have you guys found your figures pretty easily?

    *Help!*

Has anyone seen the Stealth Operations figure out there? I don't think we'll ever get them in the UK... typical.
