Nice but thought he was doing crimison dynomo what happened? Though I am glad they went with whiplash would seem to rehashy to have CD who is almost exactly like Iron Mongler.
Not to bad. Beats some of the designs from the comics. And I like the cobbled together look. I hate when these people make homemade costumes and they look like they came from a billion dollar lab, not a basement. As for previous costumes, I like the current rendition in the cartoon. Hate the toon, love the designs. Where the hell are they, a nascar track?
I still say they should've gone with the Titanium Man as the villain. Iron Man villains don't get more iconic than him. Exception - The Mandarin.
Most IM villains (Mandarin excepted) are "guy in red armor", "guy in green armor," "guy in blue armor", etc. Dramatically there isn't much there. Whiplash offers something visually different at the very least.
Isn't the Terrorist leader in the first movie supposed to be the Mandarin? And isn't the paralyzing ring that Obidiah Stane uses supposed to hint big at the Mandarin's magic rings except in this movie-verse they will not be magic powered but technology powered? At least that's how I remember Jon Favreau explaining it.
I don't think it was so much as he was the Mandarin, but more of someone who is on the Mandarin's behalf. I forget.
All signs seems to be pointing to him basically playing both. Something along the lines of where he'll start of as Whiplash and then later get the Crimson Dynamo suit, with the whips probably being incorporated into the suit's arsenal.
The villain being Whiplash, I expect the Metallica song to appear somewhere in the trailers or movie.
Why does that picture remind me of 'The Running Man'? "...I don't need this shit...I was killing guys like this 10 years ago with my bare hands.." - Captain Freedom kitting up to 'face' Ben Richards.
Monaco apparently, they've built a massive set to basically replicate it, dunno how much they're replicating though, seeing as it's an actual town. I like the look of his suit, it's blantly a prototype or bashed together test rig and like the Mk I armour from the firt film that's why it works so well visually. Morre casting news, another fit bird, http://www.superherohype.com/news/ironmannews.php?id=8437
I don't know much about Iron Man's comic or cartoon history but that looks so silly. Lots more ridiculous comedy in this one via villain outfits I guess. Iron man 3 will pit Stark against a guy in flips flops and Speedos holding a cricket bat.
