Surprised it's separate from the other two seekers. Hopefully comes as a 3-pack like the coneheads, although individual packaging would probably be preferred by some buyers who only want SS or SW or TC.

 

I might skip him, I have the Shapeshift one, the Hastak one and pre-ordered the DX9 one, but . . . . dammit. I like the crown and cape. If they end up throwing a few more IDW specific extras, maybe a tiny Rattrap or Matrix of Combination or something I'll probably end up with another SS. He looks good though. I wonder who will release their SS first; DX9 or IF?

 

I might have to ditch my DX9 pre-orders for these. A new pic of the DX9 one made it seem rather tall, where as these look like they'll match the majority of my legends figures much better. And I kind of light this more stylized look over vanilla G1.

 

And I'm keeping my DX9 orders because I like the vanilla G1 over this more stylized look (although these guys also look really damn good - I may grab Thundercracker if he gets a solo release).

 

Fuck yes and bye bye DX9.

Dx9 look good, but compared to this, well, this is absolute awesomeness, I need this. I will need a shelf for if decepticons now.

 

These guys even have waist and wrist swivels.


DX9's don't have waist or wrist swivels.

 

Thinking about it, these are different enough from DX9's that I may just get both sets.

Of course these will probably be smaller AND cost more.

Hot dang, IF knocks it out of the park again.

I'm sure there's an industry term for something that can this regularly separate my money from my wallet. This line is a perfect balance (thus far) of value and features.

 

Tis one reason I go with TFSource. I can cancel pre-orders before they get in stock, and since they usually get their stock in late, I have plenty of time to make decisions based on in-hand reviews.

 

Starscream is a definite buy for me. Not sure about the rest of the seekers, but they look great thus far.

 

They look like big strong hands.






But really apart from the hands I've already got the CW guys if I want not g1 legends seekers.

 

I prefer the more g1 look of Dx9, but I still think I'll get these over them just because its IF.

 

I wish I could afford both, but if IF has more articulation that settles it for me (unless I sell off more stuff.

 

Yeah these are clever enough that the nullrays are on the upper part of the arm that swivels so you can get more poses out them(looks to be). With the waist too... I don't think dx9s offer that nullray swivel but maybe if the shoulder balljoint can swing up over the shoulders it could be something. Not sure dx9s offer anything more than the hasbro seekers in posabilty but they still look good.
