Yeah, I have to check when I get home but I swear they are blue. Though black would have been fine too.

    That blows.

But, if you haven’t painted it yet, take a pic and try Iron Factory on FB, or contact whoever you bought Slug from.

It may take a bit, but IF should eventually send over a new head.

I took the screw out of his head and pulled the head apart. The eyes are prongs that fit into the sockets on the front of the head so a little paint on there and and back together and now he’s got some baby blues!

This one is quite satisfying in hand. The weapons "integration" to stabilize his alt-mode is
well done. I normally do not like that kind of parts usage, but he is solid enough without
them that I kind of let it slide.

This was my first Iron Factory purchase, and I am quite impressed! I guess after focusing on MP Figures for so long, I needed a break, and Burning Slug completely destroyed my perception of Legends Scale Figures being "boring, and not worth the Time".

I think they're so much fun.

Don't get me wrong. The level of detail and imposing size of some Masterpiece figures is awe-inspiring, but there's something far more endearing about this small scale. The amount of articulation and complex engineering that some companies are working into such small figures is also pretty impressive. Plus, you can't go wrong with an entire collection occupying one shelf vs. a wall of Detolf cases.

I'm going to bump this because I just got this guy in last week and have finally had a chance to really give him my full attention.

This is a staggeringly good figure. I'm impressed with the plastic, the paint, the parts count. THIS is worth the money. (Come at me, Siege people!)

This is my defacto CHUG Warpath. He looks great next to all of them. Right scale, right size and them baby blues!

This was definitely a nice figure for the price, I especially loved the rocket pods.

In robot mode and during transformation, you feel like he's going to flop all over because of the way he goes together in tank mode. You're SURE that he's going to be a mess...until you plug in all of the panels, the missile banks, the gun flap and all of a sudden he's ROCK SOLID!

I was shocked at how he goes from super articulated mini robot to wonky looking transformation to WTF solid tank. Iron Factory really impressed me here. If I was Legends Class only, I'd be all in on their products. That said, if they keep making figures like Warpath (where I need line fillers or good replacements because Hasbro or someone else did okay, but not really.), I'll be giving them more of my money.

I hate to admit it, I'm still not happy paying $35.00 for a single Legends Class figure, but doggone he's somehow actually worth the money. He is!
I had an eBay search set up for Generations Gears (I stupidly skipped him) and he goes for $41.00+ and honestly, he doesn't even come close to what this figure is worth. I couldn't possibly pay that much for a Hasbro Legends Class. I'll beat myself silly if I ever do, especially when figures like this exist for cheaper and are incredibly better.

He's not really my cup of tea with the style. I'm waiting for MFT version. A little boxy, but just enough of the good looks to sell me on it. Their Huffer and Pipes?

Ok, all these pics of this guy finally broke me down and I ordered one. This guy looks fun, if a little bit big. Oh well, he doesn't have to stay a mini bot
