Are you sure they aren't attached to him? Mine came pegged on the back of his shoulders, in the box.

I just got my arms from ActionRobo and they threw in two sweet Arms Micron figures. One's dark blue and looks like Shockwave even. Pretty nice, unexpected freebies.

 

I KNEW I should have ordered from ActionRobo! I was sooo Close to doing so. I will probably order Cygnus and/or Burning Slug from there when they come out...

 

It's cool because Arms Microns are essentially Targetmasters from Transformers Prime that transform into 5mm weapons that these guys can use. After assembling, one's a turtle that changes to a shield, and the other's a robot that changes to a (TFP OP's) gun.

I'm happy to report all parts and pieces were present, and correct. Unfortunately Blastoff's left shoulder was assembled too tight to move, and required the screw in the back of it to be adjusted. Other than that small snag, all three of my War Giant sets have been flawless. I hope others are as blessed by the QC gods when they get theirs.

I finally got my legs in and Swindle was missing his grille guard and had a crack in his ankle tilt. The missing grille guard isn't a problem and I glued the crack (looks like they used a screw that was too large, the other side was smaller and is fine). Luckily the crack isn't in a stressed area so I think I'm fine.

BTW, after having them in hand I'm really liking the bot modes. So much so that I'm thinking of keeping them like that. Anybody else keeping them separated?

 

I'm really tempted to have them separate as bots, except for Vortex, but I'm running out of space here.

 

I just got a email from TFS stating that set b just got off the truck to the warehouse

 

I should be getting a tracking number soon, maybe by the end of the day or tomorrow. SOO EXCITED!!!

 

So to those with the arms already, how would you rank the individual combaticons from best to weakest?

Brawl is still occupying my weakest slot for difficult transformation and restrictive articulation.

 

I think brawl's transformation is always gonna be something of a pain, but there're a couple tricks you can do to help him out articulation wise. I shaved a little bit of plastic off one of the armatures his shoulders are attached to and it gave him a ton more range.

I think that is the MFT OS KO of IF SS

 

It is the oversized KO of it by MFT.

 

Maybe contact them first, explain the situation and show the part you are missing from somewhere else. Keep in mind it is Chineese New Years

 

I believe this version has an increased problem with the arms shearing off.
