Iron Factory Upgrade on G1 colored Grimlock...

    Has anyone else used the IF upgrade on the FOC G1 colored Grimlock?

    I just got it today, and the colors are a hoooooorrible mismatch. I don't have the orginal FOC Grim to compare it to; but based on the pictures and videos I watched of this upgrade kit, I'm assuming it's way different than this new G1 inspired Grimlock.

    I'm so bummed. I was really looking forward to this kit.

    I own both and foc has a bronze tint to his silver body where foc is a bit blue. So ya I can see why it won't match.

    I didn't expect the gray parts to be a different shade.

    It's otay, I'm already 90% done taping this guy up ready to give it all, new parts included, a coat of gray/metallic paint.

    The Iron Factory kit works best on the original FOC Generations Grimlock or the Platinum Grimlock. Colors are off if you use it on the Takara or AOE versions.
