No. You just misunderstood that IF's Slipstream is a tiny fembot mold (hence its lower price tag) like their Arcee and Windblade are vs the bigger starscream mold they made with its larger price tag.

Her rrp is 20. The seeker rrp is 30. If you paid more than 23 for shrike you got ripped off.

 

Oh good, thanks. I had forgotten the price difference. They were months apart. Just thought they were using most of the same parts as I never saw both together.

 

Ok so I said I wouldn't buy this because of the noggin size but I went ahead and bought it anyways (by accident since I was recovering from anesthesia and loopy after a septoplasty surgery). It's cool, I like the colors and overall look of the figure in general. I might figure out a custom and smaller head for this figure down the road. Is anyone working on new non chibi heads for these figures yet?

 

Kinda the opposite. Her head fits perfectly on the regular IF Seeker mould, so I designed new forearms, hands, hips and thighs for the mould to complete the feminine conversion. It needs a few tweaks before mass consumption, though. I'll have updates in January.

 

does anyone know if they ever released these other three versions of this mold? this is the only reference i've found.

finally got mine. i find alt mode is kind of blah. but she's ace in bot mode and fits in well with Pocket Toys Defender & Tuner.S

I just noticed that the Coneheads are wearing witch hats. Genius!

 

I really wish they'd release more IF fembots. I wouldn't mind a Pink Assassin re-release. I missed out on it the first time (I actually prefer the darker coloured exclusive version, but not enough to pay for an extra figure I don't really want).

At the least we could probably still get a fembot Seeker squadron.

These are just... weird.

 

With Skywarp being a girl in this mold, that expression seems unfortunate and leading to easy jokes at it's expense.

 

Definitely getting this, but I don't love the new headsculpts.

It would've been nice if they made each version of the face for each head, though the simpler choice of swappable faces isn't really feasible at this scale.

But, seeing as Skywarp is already a femme seeker in Earthspark, it would also be nice to see her sister Nova Storm get her own Slipstream redeco.

Going further, I'd dig a femme Red Wing, and masc and femme versions of Kawamori & 'Til All Are One 'Screams, but that's least likely to happen.
