Yeh, I had zero interest in extra Megatron's as much as I like the figure. I didn't need to use every configuration at once. And I didn't think I was going to with this one either. I ordered one at first and then I ended up ordering two more after seeing the great pics of it. Now I'm like, I'm one away from having "collected" them all. I wish there was a chance he'd be a flash sale somewhere.

 

Just got mine and I echo the positive sentiments here. The overall make is great and a big step up from the last IF figure I had (windblade). However the wing is a bit limited in its backward movement which clashes with the shoulder pads.

More than that I love the winklepickers and gives it a fun deathscythe goofiness.

 

I don't think I understand how he's supposed to hold the double-blade pieces. I'm probably doing it wrong, but they don't seem to fit in his hands.

And it pegs in fine for me. I don't know if this matters, but I also have the blades oriented the same direction as the little spike in the middle:

 

Got it. I had some major flashing inside his hand that was stopping it.

 

Got mine in this week. IMO, it's a bit of a weird release for me from Iron Factory. I actually enjoy the alt mode much more than I normally do for IF figures. The robot mode looks good, but I can't help but wonder if making the vehicle mode work hurt what would normally be better articulation in the upper half. The wings have much less articulation than you'd expect, given the number of parts and joints and IF's history of making something like that more playable. Good overall figure, but doesn't really change your life. Here's a photo with some stuff he probably shouldn't be with, but I dig it anyway:

 

  wish IF had included couple more of the magenta blades. might need to pick up another one of these just so i can have all the weapons configurations built up and in use.

 

Anybody know if there screw hole filler kits, 3D printed or other wise? Because the screw holes really are jarring.

 

@Kuma Style With another great Iron Factory review! This was useful to me as most reviews don't go through all the combinations you can use with his many accessories (scythe, crossbow, blades, arm blades, etc) and flight stand integration.

I just discovered his wing thrusters tab out and can fit in his forearms like null rays, or if the red part faces forward, can loosely but comfortably fit in his closed holding hands.

Haven't seen this before so thought I'd share!
