After messing with this dude, I’ll be pretty disappointed without a Devcon repaint. They can even ditch the knives/etc and other heads. Just him, the gun, and some hands. Make it the basic $29.99 price point *chefs kiss*.

Agree 100%! I'd buy it in a heartbeat, and it's basically leaving money on the table if they DON'T do it, since they already have the head-sculpt.

It won't surprise me if they do a Devcon eventually. IF loves a repaint. Just look at their seekers. I think we'll get a Devcon as a surprise convention exclusive like we did w/ Exhaust.

Not a lot of molds to choose from this year. It is the right price range for an exclusive too.

    Exactly :)
Though we have 5.5 months left so who knows what we'll see yet this year. I figure we have Cyclonus and Galvatron yet this year and we know SG Lion Samurai Prime is next. After that, no idea.

This is veering offtopic but it wouldn't be too hard for them to hurry up and release Dark Cygnus. I mean they have the mold already. Maybe they can sneak it in 2021.

I think it's highly likely. More likely than Soundwave anyway ;-)

I forgot Galvatron is likely this year!
I guess IF could take a page from NA book and remold him into Straxus.
If Soundwave gets released I could also imagine a Soundblaster or Blaster too.

I think we can bank on a Soundblaster.

IDW Soundwave and Blaster look different enough where I don't think it's a guarantee.

Agreed, but that was true of their original Blaster and Soundwave. The Spotlight Blaster design didn't bare any resemblance to the Spotlight Soundwave design. Shouldn't stop IF this time either.

+1 for the Devcon repaint. That aside, IF really did well with this figure. Loving the weapons and the posability. Hopefully Cyclonus will be equally good or better.

I always thought that the old IF Drift figure could've made a good devcon retool.

I think I'd still rather see that for variety sake... I already have a devcon out of scourge from MFT. And I'm happy enough with two uses of this mold as Scourge and Alpha Trion.

Just received mine from ShowZ. Impressive packaging compared to BBTS.

Good purchase, he has a presence with those wings, and even has an ab crunch (his abs are distinct from his chest and waist).

What are you favorite configurations for scourge? I prefer the original head with the curved shoulders.

Now that I have Scourge, I'm ready for them to hurry up and release the Alpha Trion deco of this figure.

That said, I guess I'll order one more of these so I can do all four variations. I really didn't expect to do that but here we are. One of my favorite recent figures.

Like the figure and where with Megatron I've changed the look I don't see me doing it with this one. Would love to have at least two, preferably three Sweeps but I'm not getting two or three new figures and have for every head configuration two/three extra lying around. Wouldn't mind if IF would do the body without a head and shoulder pad and include blades holding hands and two purple knife blades. Maybe I'll keep an eye out for someone selling his/her in a year or so.

    Loving this little dude!

By swapping the shoulder pads and flipping in the toes, he's actually got a pretty faithful G1 look and goes really well with NewAge Galvy (got to love the toy deco, which doubles as Marvel comics deco) and Magic Square Cyclonus!
