I got 3 from TFS-EXPRESS for $89.97 + $30 for shipping.
For what it's worth, on ShowZ his status is no longer incoming nor pre-order so I guess this means he is in stock?
This is a Troop Builder bot if I ever saw one! Not sure how I feel about the different faces but over all a pretty killer version of this character.
In stock at TFS-EXPRESS. My order is awaiting dispatch!
My order from showz shipped!
Toy Dojo has theirs in stock.
Come on TCP!
TCP just sent their preorder notification this morning. So yeah, I had Void Legion pre-ordered with TCP, but because I am a crazy person, when I saw Toy Dojo had it in stock, I grabbed three of them as well so I could do all four versions.
Omegalock in the UK has him in stock. Hopefully my pre-order (which I only put in at the weekend!) ships in the next day or so.
Looks like TCP just got their stock in.
im surprised nobody else has this guy yet...
i finally had some time to stop by the dojo earlier today. i picked it up so i could bring it home and check this little guy out.
well my first impression are that the mold is great and i like that you have the ability to show him without the elf shoes.
the hands are soft or rubbery but i think it has been that way since the lion bots.
i highly recommend this bot as it is a call back to what made IF great. i will be grabbing 3 more and i cant wait till cyclonus and galvatron drop. i am all in till the end.
Nice pick up @lilcarus and thanks for posting some pics and impressions. My 3 are tied up with a PO for IF Galvatron so I'll be waiting for hopefully not too much longer.
Long live Iron Factory!
What a neat little Scourge. Whilst it didn't put me off, the vehicle mode wasn't really grabbing me ahead of time. Having it hand though, I really like it. A simple yet effective transformation that produces a far more cohesive spaceship than I was expecting.
It's a shame there's nowhere for the Iron Factory stands to plug in though.
Until we get Cyclonus and Galvatron there's nobody that immediately sprung to mind for a group shot, so here's a random selection from the Iron Factory horde.
(This particular Bandai Gundam kit stand needs some glue TLC on the base connection after taking a high speed trip off a table last year)
In this video about 6 1/2 minutes in, they show a small adapter for the stand. They also show it earlier when they show all the parts included.
Still waiting on mine - looks like a great figure.
Oh yeah, thank you. I hadn't even spotted that bit of black plastic in the bags!
Got the three I grabbed from Toy Dojo the other day. Hopefully my fourth (the one I originally pre-ordered!) from TCP is going out today and arriving here next week.
Iron Factory Scourge. New Age Galvatron, Magic Square Cyclonus. Sure would like one company to have all three out (IF does have a Galvatron and Cyclonus pending at least!)
Scourge and his lil' sweeps:
I went with the sweeps from this video:
Though it has them as Sweeps Three, Six, and Seven, but the Botcon 2009 Sweeps are actually Two, Six, and Seven. And I'm not sure the weapons match their specialties- Two was the close combat specialist, Six the tactician, and Seven the weapons specialist. So I would have actually done the guns with seven, the knives with two, and the claws with six.
Sweep "Six"/the Devcon looking deco:
But yeah, this is a nice little figure. I like the simple transformation and the various options.
EDIT: And I totally forgot to add the pic of them in alt mode:
There's an adapter in the bag of fists that goes here:
Okay, my fourth Void Legion came in from TCP finally, so now I can do Scourge and his sweeps:
Heh, I even changed up the symbol placement to differentiate Scourge from his henchmen.
Before and after:
Sorry, I'm a Skywarp=Cyclonus, TC=Scourge, and the Insecticons are the Sweeps person. It just makes more sense than Bombshell being Cyclonus.
There is something poetic also about Magic Square Megatron becoming New Age Galvatron, and New Age Skywarp becoming Magic Square Cyclonus.
MS, NA, and IF all go together great!
Separate names with a comma.
