$50 for a Legends? fuck. that.

 

I haven't seen scale pics of Windblade with other Legends class figures but assuming she is about the same size as HasTak Legends figures Magnus is more like a Deluxe than a Legends though he does scale with them. Given that $50 is pretty average for something third party and that size isn't it?

edit; going back and reading I see this have been brought up by other people as well. $50 doesn't seem absurd to me. Seems pretty average.

 

$50 dollars is worth satiating the quality junky in me. It's not the size, it's the awesome! if Hasbro could make something of this level it would be around $30+ I guarantee it. I am happy to fork out the extra dough to help support the designers at a small business like Iron Factory. I have been completely sold on the third party price gap. It is worth it. It may, (if it hasn't already) drive HasTak to up their quality once again.
So this little guy is going for nearly the same asking price of the new Jetfire? Good.

 

Iron Factory should use that as their slogan.

See that little guy on the bottom far left? That is a legends size figure. That FOC Optimus next to UM is deluxe. IronFactory UM is a scout.

Scouts such as FansProject T-Bone and Car Crash go for $60-$65 so I don't think the price here is abnormal for a 3P scout.

 

I admit I don't know if I actually posted it or not, but personally I expected Magnus alone to be around the same cost as Turrets & Manacle all along. While he isn't complex he is clearly more complex then their earlier releases. The fact that he is a bit cheaper is enough for me. At the very least I would encourage those with interest to wait until we have interior package shots to see what all he comes with.

TCP Link Iron Factory IF-EX04 Fortress Commander

My expectations are his hammer (maybe 2), a gun for him (again 2 is possible though I'm not betting on it), and all the duplicate guns that were in both EX-02 and 03.

 

Yea, if he comes with even just one drone, it'd be fine with me.

 

Really looking forward to this guy. If he has more of those drone parts I am going to be swimming in them.

 

Correction: That FoC Optimus next to UM is a very small deluxe, which like FP's deluxe Stunticons people have repeatedly called a "large scout".

This guy is about the same size as MT's Trash-Talk, who was ~$30 ($60 for the two-pack of TT and CW). And he certainly comes with less "accessories" than their IF's Blaster, who was also rather pricey for his size, but at least came with two other bots.
