use the 5mm ports on Tarns forearms
to get the tummy arms
Go my copy of Merak in today:
So now the team is finally complete:
Did you order from his site or eBay?
Nice thanks. Hoping mine ships soon.
Yeah this is awesome, it was hella tedious getting him combined but man it was worth it
the whole Dark Counsel 13 badass evil primes and Tarnation now serves as the combiner of the group yet looks like he's just as small as the bigger members like Thunder Erebus, Striker Noir, Shadow Emissary and Xerxes
Finished my set today as well. This guy is next level. Easily my favorite combiner I’ve owned. The individual figures are excellent and the combined form is incredible as well. Company just gets better and better.
Aww but Thunder Erebus isn't evil
According to who my head cannon has Chaos recruiting strong Primes and warriors for Unicron to corrupt and be his 13 Primes
Men IF really did an amazing job on their DJD(cant wait 4 Merak to arrive). Makes me imagine what team will IF do next
A small part of me wants them to do the Dinobots like this, but honestly with this kinda engineering the possibilities are endless
He's based on Nucleon Quest Convoy - Nucleon Quest Super Convoy (2001) - Autobot Supreme Commander - www.tfu.info. It's why he has blue eyes.
"Background: Once there was era in which the planet Seibertron had been struck by a fatal energy shortage. At this time, Convoy and HiQ, a scientist from the planet Nebulos, undertook a perilous journey in search of a new energy to replace Energon.
Abilities: In order for him to extract the super-energy "Nucleon" that exists in black holes, his entire structure is now protected by a phase modulation shield. He can now carry out activity in super-gravitic environments."
Note the thread title:
MakeToys Cross Dimension Thunder Erebus (Nucleon Quest)
Ofc do what you want... Just making sure you have all the info.
An actually Dino alt mode dinobots would be great, but give us Superion!
Man, I got a feeling IF would absolutely *murder* a Legends Computron.
I'm sure a Superion would look fantastic... But ultimately it's a boring toy (fight me). It's one figure for the body and then the same jet limb four times with different details.
Now yes, I have 100 versions of their seeker mold... So I shouldn't complain about 4 limbs with the same transformation, but maybe having so many jets already is part of what makes me not want a Superion (yet...)
With Computron, you get so much variety... A big spaceship, a smaller fighter, a drill-tank, a car, and a motorcycle. It's just a lot more interesting, and is an even more perfect fit for their idw-scifi style.
no i know, that's why he has blue eyes and not typical evil red prime but he's too cool of a black prime to waste on the good guys, and besides some of my counsel aren't even Primes only 8/13 are though one of the other 5 is a former Decepticon Leader (Black Zarak/Devil Stinger.
oh or Dinoking and Liokaiser
oh or Dinoking and Liokaiser[/QUOTE]
Liokaiser would be a real treat from IF
Gave my kid the big blue one for his birthday, yesterday. He's been collecting the team...
I don't personally collect IF, but WOW, I can see why they've got some avid fans. This set is nuts! The way they break down and reconfigure for combined mode is really impressive.
Tanman is on the way for Xmas. I just may have to get a set myself!
These guys are all really great, and Tesarus is no exception. He's big and bulky and solid, and while I don't love the fact that he's got ratcheted hips (which makes him subject to "stand straight or stand with your legs spread with nothing between" issue that often plagues such figures), I can understand why they're needed for the grotesquely solid combined mode.
I love how his otherwise pointless back treads can fold down into a disposal conveyor for when he needs to get to grindin'
His backpack "thing" can swivel around when he does this to point its four glowing points down towards the conveyor, which brings to mind a futuristic incinerator torch or somesuch to make sure the leftover bits are well and truly taken care of. It's easy to see how all of this works towards his function as a walking, talking garbage disposal.
The combined mode is amazing and solid, as well, but while it's cool the set really shines with the various figures in their individual robot modes. I really hope that Iron Factory makes more comic styled bots in this scale, because whatever they put out I'm buyin'.
i love iron factory plastic.
