Got my Alkaid from Toy Dojo today:

I think he scales with his DJD buddies just fine, but I feel something is off between him and the Phase Sixers. Like maybe Sixshot and Black Shadow are the right height, but I feel IF Overlord is to small for him:


But I also feel OS Overlord may be too big for him also:

Or maybe Overlord and Helex being the same height is about right, and I'm only getting thrown off because I'm thinking Helex and Tesarus are supposed to be the same size because that's how the IF set has them, when Tesarus is actually supposed to be a few heads taller than Helex.

Same here, I received the shipping notice this morning.

Question, how tall is this guy in inches, not cm, because I'm nowhere near smart enough to do the conversion. I have very limited shelf space for legends and concerned this guy might not fit.

 

On BBTS they have 5.90 inches.

Edit: did some measurements with other IF figures, should be about the height of IF Skorponok, he's taller than IF Skyfire if you don't count his backpack

Oh, sorry, I meant he arrived in the mail. I had him pre-ordered and Toy Dojo got them in Friday, which usually means they'll arrive for me Monday.

 

My legends shelves are 8" so I should be good, thanks.

 

Ah!!! So, it's an almost 6-incher vs an 8-incher... I get it... LOL

 

So even Maximus Ambus should fit, as he's the biggest IF figure till now with his 6,5 inches.

 

Just got my ship confirm from BBTS for Alkaid. Now just waiting on Merak/Scissorsaw/Tesarus to complete the set.

Where did you get the badges? I know Toyhax has a set, but I'm not sure if it's small enough for legends scale.

 

They give you some pretty small insignias in the Toyhax set. I am using them on my legends DJD set.

 

Got mine in today from TF Robots. The alt mode is just a ramming tank but like the bot mode, love those little arms.

Looked at the transformatiom for the combined mode, every limb turns into a different part for the combined mode. When Merak arrives I'll combine them to see how it looks but not thinking about keeping them in combine mode, the difference in size and heft make this an interesting team, as a combiner I think they miss that je ne sais quoi that a combiner as War Giant possesses.
