Just placed my order for the first three on TCP. Ok Iron Factory, lets do this. I was not super impressed with their Bruticus so lets give this set a shot.

overall these guys are great and vos is highly articulated. picking these guys up was definitely worth it.

but i do have to warn you guys of this. the new shoulders do not come preloaded with grease or a lubricant. becareful with them because they are just as tight as the first batch. i didn't need mine because i had that extra set that came with my tarn. but just use a little bit if caution.

no they are just normal bots as far as how they are built. just solid ball joints and knee swivels. they are nice and solid.

tarn had the bad transformation gimic and a bad batch of plastic. that was his down fall but it looks like IF have corrected course nicely.

My tarn is fine..... atm. Never transformed it though his right arm is super tight still

Tarn arrived today and he is amazing. Tolerances on the shoulders feel fine, although if anything goes astray I'll be ordering Vos and Kaon soon anyway

Got the first three today thanks to TCP. Tarns arms were broken out of the box but thankfully with those new arms they are nice and sturdy. Alittle right still for my taste but it doesn’t feel like they’ll snap. Vos and Kaon have good tolerances and I don’t really have any issues with.

i mentioned that part earlier. if it were me i would still get some kind of lubrication in there. they dont feel like they will snap. but neither did the first batch. it kind of just happened.

What is the difference between the new arms and the old arms? The arms on my Tarn were fine, but I replaced them anyways, and as I was, I put the arms side by side to try and spot a difference and I couldn't. Is it just made from a different, better batch of plastic?

The little rotating bar hinge that the arms attach too (purple L shape piece) is thicker on the new arms. And it seems the actual shoulder ball joint is a bit thicker around the socket. That’s what was broken out of the box on mine. They were both cracked right down the middle and were loosy goosy.

Tarn, Vos, and Kaon are on its way from TCP. Now I need someone from the 'List' to put into the hot seat.

Also worth pointing out that (all? Some?) Tarns original arm bars are miss assembled. The left bar should be on the right arm and vice versa. This is why the treads don't always line up flat, and the 2 fold down pack panels don't sit completely flush in tank mode.

The new set come properly aligned already.

Those are all way to big to fit in the Electric Chair. Really their Arcee/Elita1 mold is the only one that fits I think. Windblade and Slipstream have big wings that the claws won't be able to wrap around.

It was basically made to fit Arcee.
