That's ok, I don't need sympathy so all is good. 

I actually shouldn't even call it a Legends+ collection anymore anyway, as it's become a mix of MFT, MS, NA, and official Legends now, but I still only get those bots that will fit in the Legends+ range.  

 

Zeta Toys - Bar01 Bar Playset

 

Man I am so torn on this guy. I want him for the combiner gimmick, but wondering if they will release the DJD in a boxset because of the combiner gimmick.
Would rather have a boxset with the DJD recolored to make a full on accurately colored combiner TARN.

 

I don't think they have ever released a set of individual figures and then a boxed set. I think they have only done either or. But I could be wrong.

 

I'm curious because they did boxsets for Catastrophe and War Giant, and I'd rather wait for a boxset, but don't want to miss out if they are individual releases only.

I have two MFT figures, the DX9 Cyclonus upsized (have the original as well) and the IF Shockwave upsize. The Cyclonus is cheap feeling (and I just got Magic Square;s Cyclonus as a better Legends but bigger one) and I got Shockwave cos I couldn't find the original for hell.

But Iron Factory really won me over with Lord Scorpion. Brilliant figure. I owed their Overlord and it was OK, but didn;t impress me that much.

Looking forward to my Tiny Tarn.

 

i dont feel he will be super small. im think more of the likes of MFT shockwave.

I am not aware IF did a box set for War Giant. Catastrophe, yes.

I don’t like Kultur either. It was just another mold they set up for reuse for the sake of reuse. That and Kultur has tiny baby hands.

 

Same. I was planning on picking them up one at a time as they released to lessen the blow over time too, but it looks like none of them are released yet.

 

But all of the reuse molds have made since and been on point tho

 

So are you ever going to acknowledge all the visible limb parts on this sets alt modes, or do you want to keep pretending they don't exist?





Least with Helex they can get away with it haha.



And don't get me wrong I still love how this set looks and I'm quite forgiving of alt modes at times, especially at this scale. But lets not pretend these toys are perfect and flawless. I will certainly be mentioning the various drawbacks of these alt modes when I review them, since its only fair to criticize these toys for where they do have very obvious faults such as this.
