i can totally see one of the IF lady bots remolded into a perfect nautica without many changes outside of a new head sculpt and 2 tweaks.

i have enough of them now i could slap one together for shits and giggles. but im not going to do IF's job for them.

...i guess it's a fun little bonus, but honestly i don't even care about the combined mode, not at all: my legends collection will ignore it entirely in lieu of the individual characters...

...clever, though!..it'd look much better in a unified color scheme...

 

Maybe that will be the repaint, a unified color scheme DJD to make a unified Super Tarn.

That combined mode looks far better than I expected in colour. It's a really well done layout.

 

Okay, I can honestly not figure out where the barrels of mega-Tarn's arm cannon come from.

Regular Tarn's arm cannon becomes Mega-Tarn's back guns, that is obvious... but are the big canons just tucked away somewhere inside one of the big bots? Are they a completely separate parts-forming accessory that aren't used in the individual modes? Argh this is frustrating me.

 

Combined mode looks ..... lame. It's just a color mismatched big sized Tarn.

 

I’m in for Tarn, don’t know if I wanna shell out that amount for the entire DJD. Even if I do over time, I doubt I’ll combine them.

I do enjoy the combined mode but the colour combination looks... eh? just eh. I'll happily be buying Mini Tarn solo.  

 

I really like the combined mode, I think they spread the colors outenoughthat it looks good, imo.

I wouldn’t wait too long, IF figures can be hard to get ahold of after the first few months.

 

Still love the look of the set even though I know nothing about the characters.

agree, the individual modes look great but the gestalt kind of looks like tarn went colorblind this morning before he got dressed.

 

I guess it looks like a tan Tarn wearing boots and gloves with a red gun.

 

Its weird really, I knew it was gonna look odd, but something is off about it. I think its the blue shins. If they were red or purple he would look more like a combiner as opposed to a weirdly painted figure. Im still all in for them, its a great fun addition if nothing else
