Box and piece throughly licked and snorted, yes.
I’m still waiting on a replacement claw piece. Mine came with one missing. It’s been about three months..
ShowZ responded to my msg regarding Merak/Tesarus, he's being processed for shipping now.
Finally!!! (fist pump)
Finally got my replacement flank for Helex. Glad to have him complete, but with rent and summer school, getting Tesarus is looking unlikely
Sold these guys. Checked the thread out of habit. Although I had to choose--couldn't do Earthrise, MMC/Planet X and Iron Factory all--it was a sad moment.
I have been surprised that there are no KO's of this set yet. It makes me wonder if they aren't selling well so the KO companies aren't bothering
Still haven't got the rest of the team beyond the mini-Tarn. Just waiting till this situation is over then I'm going to get them.
I guess that's why MFT is not going to give their spin on it.
I was going to get this entire set, but the issues with Tarn's shoulders put me off from buying into it. I've read in the past that IF's engineering QA/QC is iffy. Plus official offerings and army truck parts have been draining my wallet lately
They included a set of replacement shoulders with the Vos/Kaon 2 pack.
I've had no.issues with Tarn's shoulders and even if there are any, the Kaon Vos twopack has a set of replacements with a screwdriver and instructions, as well as an additional mask if you lose or break one.
Are the replacement arm parts a better design, or does the same care need to be taken with them as the original parts?
one of my replacements broke recently the same way the originals did. They still work 100% but are very loose.
I haven't given too much thought into articulating the arms or transforming and they still hold up nicely. I can't compare the sets as I swapped them out immediately (got the first three guys in one purchase last fall).
I still have Tarn’s original shoulders on him. I missed out on the first run and got him much later, so he might have the new shoulders installed. No issues with him so far.
I put a little drop of silicone oil on each of the original shoulders (before putting any stress on them), and they were fine. I have the replacements but have never seen the need to use them. Just a tiny bit of belt oil frees them up, and it's the last you'll think about it. That doesn't help the early adopters who stressed their figures, but it definitely shouldn't scare anyone away who is considering picking these guys up now. They're great.
Never needed to replace the shoulders on my copy of Tarn. The new ones are still in the plastic bag that came with Kaon and Voss.
did this come with a replacement mask. i dont think i ever noticed that.
I lubed up both pairs of shoulders and still use the originals on Tarn. No problems as of yet.
