Hello all, Recently, (thanks mostly to Godsendeath's thread about Cybertron toys coming to Ireland), it occured to me that there are quite a few Irish Transformers fans. To that end, it might be interesting to find out who you are and if you are interested in being part of something. What that someting will be, we will have to wait and see. It could be just a bit of a get-together to discuss Transformers, or a forming of an Irish Fan Club, or even plans to take over the world... So don't be shy, let us know you are out there & how interested you are in any of the above (if the taking over the world thing pans out, I'm calling supreme dictator now...)
46 Views and not one post. Chalk up annother one for voter apathy. <img src="http://img68.imageshack.us/img68/1752/tumbleweed0zb.jpg" border="0" width="350" alt="Image Hosted by ImageShack.us" />
Or maybe everyone's got collection inferiority complexes.... It's an idea though - if you could think of a pub you could meet in where producing your new Cybertron Optimus Prime wouldn't get you looks... You'd need a snug.
N'ah, we need a world domination manifesto, so many have promised it and not succeeded you can't blame them for being skeptical.......... Which would probably STILL get us funny looks. There's got to be one somewhere......
and yet the same thing is i would rather travel over to ireland then go to birmingham why is this you may ask? because the irish are awsome and so is ireland
I'd love for someone to name a place in Ireland where ya DON'T get funny looks for stepping outside the box, god damn. But having said that, ya would get away with it far quicker in the cities than ya would down the country. God bless the begrudging irish that we are... Cant ya feel the love?
M'eh, I've lost count of the funny looks i've gotten over the years... it started when i was about.... three i think. So, if we could find somewhere that we didn't get strange looks, or we just plain didn't give a damn... we'd manage something then??? Never been to Newcastle... but some of the nicest people i've met from England, have been from Newcastle.
what I would like to know is where is the majority of I/TF's based? down in culchie world like me or in da big city...
Well. I'm half-irish by heritage. I live in the US. I visited Ireland once for a week - in Dunquin, near Dingle, on the coast. I never thought it was possible to fall in love with a place. I'm going to Galway in March. I can't wait.
Wow, I move away from my computer for a couple of days and suddenly everbody gets interested in an Irish transformers community? Do I smell on the internet too?
