• Just before Ironhide finally dies, he lets out this final sigh. Did anyone else find it to be a bit disturbing and saddening? I know that he's just a robot, but that sound he lets out combined with the sight of his head falling off was a bit too much to bear. I mean, just a few seconds prior, he was alive and well. I know that I'm a bit late on this, but I was thinking about it and it hit me.
• When Optimus shoots Sentinel in the head, he lets out a sigh indicating that he felt some degree of pain. That was also a bit disturbing. It sounds like, "Ahh!". Then, he lets out another one just as the second shot hits him in the head, again.

Did anyone find these sounds to be a bit disturbing and saddening?

They are supposed to be disturbing and saddening. Poor Ironhide went out like a champ. And Sentinel had so much potential, who knew he was going to betray the Autobots.

Their deaths were appropriate, and each carried weight.

 

of topic but i feel tfw is the place were there aren't a lot of sentinel haters on youtube is mostly filled with angry 10 year old kids that know nothing of transformers and truly hate sentinel

 

Yeah Ironhide's final grunt/sigh combined with the look on his face right before the rust eats into his neck and his head falls off is pretty disturbing indeed.

Considering the amount of pain he must have been in as his entire body disintegrated, I think he took it like the badass he was.

 

Ironhide's death was sad, it was harsh, but thats how war is, so they did good on
showing that one minute Your friend is fine, and then the next he's just gone
very sad, I didn't find sentinels Death very harsh or sad
what so ever Optimus Made two clean shots so to me it was quick. 

 

I found it most disturbing when Que said "Why did yo-" after he got shot the first time.

It's like an old man that just wants to live so bad but can't stop the inevitable.

You know, considering how old Que was, what the hell was he doing in the battle field? He's not a fighter like Sentinel or Jetfire. He's a scientist. He should have stayed at the NEST base.

 

The NEST base they got kicked out of?

 

I forgot. My point is, he shouldn't have been in the battle. He's an old, scientist. Not a warrior.

 

I cried so hard when Ironhide died, and it didnt help his his head rolled.   But it was a really well done scene, it seemed very real to me.

You know, I wonder how Sentinel and The Fallen would have reacted to one another. Perhaps Sentinel could have been The Fallen's apprentice.

 

i dont like the fact bay made sentinel into a traitor whats with him and making the primes all physco murderers and power hungry

I actually wish Jazzes death (if he absolutely HAD to be killed) was treated as well as Irohides was. He was just treated like a no body red shirt...OOO, that still makes me mad.

Wheeljacks death was pretty sad, however what I found weird about his death was the fact he was surprised that the Decepticons were going to kill him. I mean how long has the war been going on? The concept that the cons were going to execute their prisoners never even occurred to him? How long has be been with the Autobots; a week? How could he have been so naive? He invented tools which could kill Decepticons, he had to have known they'd kill him given the chance.

 

Yup. Literally every Autobot that died onscreen got more mourning than Ironhide did. Even Que, when Bumblebee said, "Goodbye, my old friend." (Though at first I thought he was talking to Sam, but I'm pretty sure he was referring to Que)
