Found Universe Onslaught and Powerglide in Smyths city centre. Mono-lingual, has the safety lion on it, but has US instructions, so I'm not sure what's going on here. They were really cheap too. They rung up as €28 each, but the price tags said €23, so I got them for that. That's a lot cheaper than the standard €40 for ultras, and cheaper even than the price for Voaygers.

Just to let you know Byrnes World of Wonder in Liffey Valley have loads of Alternators Jaguar Ravage at €19.99. Counted about 30 there.

 

I was in smyths yesterday and found Swoop and Sentinel Prime there. No EG Bumblebee.

 

Ken Black in Portlaoise, Roadbuster Ultra Magnus and Stealth(?) Megatron both €49.99 I think, which is gas coz they have the giant Prime there for €40. Also Blitzwing and Lugnut there for €22, thats all they had new anyway. Hadn't the cash so I left them behind.

So I expect we';re gonna get next to nothing from this range as per usual.

haven't seen him myself, the newest deluxes I saw in Ken Blacks were Sideswipe, Ironhide, Silverstreak and Acidstorm. Their pegs a choc full of old Movie stuff they are trying to get rid of for 9 yoyos

Also, anyone see the Original Animated Leader Ultra Magnus anywhere???

 

Nah, we got Roadbuster Magnus down my way too, I'm afraid personally about what this means for us getting anything else, it bothers me that distribution in Ireland is the afterthought of the UK, which itself is the afterthought of the US. I wanted Grimlock most outta the lot and the cost of p+p is prohibitive. How big is the market for adult collectors in this country if there's no online retailer/importer. I do know of one, though his web site isn't set up for making orders and I don't want to go to Dublin to buy his stuff. I'll try find a link. I saw the Animated twins during the week, not going to bother with them.

So I propose 'figure watch Ireland'! With the upcoming movie we're going to be getting a flood of these toys which are gonna be in the way and sit on the shelves like the deluxes from the last movie are doing. Which toys are you on the look for? So if I spot them I'll post it here or pm you if you'd like, or if you spot em post here or pm.

If I get out of work tomorrow early I'm gonna do a run around Carlow and Naas to see whats about, so far as regards Shockwave, no luck, but I'll keep an eye out. I'll be heading to Smyths there and they usually have up to the minute stuff, but what minute we're at... no idea.

nothing around these parts, I did see voyager SS and Bulkhead in Argos for €20 however, I'm thinking I might pick SS up, I have neither

 

I work in Argos in Athlone and i can tell you that those voyagers are on clearence and won't be getting anymore in, I would advice you to get SS because he seems to be rare.

 

ah very good, I'll pick him up next week. anything else of interest come into Argos?
