IPod Classic or Touch? Which is...better?

    I've got a question about the IPod Touch & Classic: Will either of them display the pictures included in enhanced podcasts, and allow chapter skipping? I ask because I've been thinking of getting one or the other cause the Sony Walkman I'm using currently doesn't do either, which is a pain in the ass when I'm 3/4 of the way through a podcast and have to pause it and end up skipping to the next show/song, or restart the podcast on accident, and have to fast forward through until I get to where I was. Which would you guys recommend? The Touch looks cool, but there's more storage on the Classic. (I'm also subscribed to a couple video podcasts, if that makes any difference in which way to go.)

    I'd go with a iPod Touch. (got a 2nd gen. 8GB and love it :D  )

    Touch by a mile, unless you absolutely have a ton of music and have to carry it with you.

    Touch. I've had one for awhile now, and I love it! 32GB is the perfect size for me, as it holds music and 4GB of applications.

    Looks like everyone sayeth Touch FTW. While listening to enhanced podcasts, does/will it display any included pics in the podcast (chapter pics, etc)? That is pretty much my main concern with getting an IPod. Also, I read somewhere (possibly here on the boards) that the Touch has built in wi-fi? If so, what are all the features with that?

    Any ipod should display chapter pics in a podcast.

    The Touch has wifi, basically it scans for hotspots and you can use that to browse the web, download apps, use those apps if they involve the internet, etc.

    A couple years ago I'd have said the Classic was more bang for your buck in that you could take everything with you, but now that the Touch has cleared 32gb it can legitimately carry an entire small library itself IMO.

    Thanks for the info, Vangelus! Looks like I'll be getting a Touch in a couple weeks when our refund arrives, and, with some luck, WTF@TFW will be the first podcast listened to on it!

    Touch, without a doubt. It's way more than just music and videos. Apps and organizational tools on the go = awesome.

    definitely Touch. The only things Classic really has going for it is storage capacity and battery life. Touch has bigger screen, flash memory, wifi, apps, and on and on...

    Unless you have a iPhone, there's no reason to get anything else besides iPod Touch.
