Yeah, I'm going to skip on the leaders but I'm pretty happy with the deluxe and voyager figures.

I just hope we start to see a wider distribution of Swerve and Cosmos.

 

I am skipping the AOE figures entirely except the evasion OP. I have a whole bunch of previous movie figures I need to unload if anyone is looking for any.

 

found Blind Bag Kreons Wave 5 at the toysrus in moline plus tons of other movie kreo toys.

 

I picked up a full set of the blind bags and a full set of the custom Kreons from the Moline TRU yesterday. Not much left as of last night at 7pm.

They also have a bunch more of the regular full sets, in fact the only one I didn't see was the Optimus dino-hauler set (not sure what it's called) that comes with the normal Ratchet kreon. The smaller dino sets are on the end-cap display and the Galvatron Factory set was around the corner on the bottom shelf.


Oh yeah, and they had the little mini-figs back in the regular toy section.

 

So TRU in CR restocked the movie deluxes but not much else was hoping to find MP Grimlock but nope, also trying to find kre-o computron and menasor if anybody see them please hit me up, but I cant wait till the other stores have restocked kinda hate going to my TRU better plan a trip out of town to a better one  

 

Ankeny Target had several Generations Cosmos and Swerve today.

 

Coralville Target had most everything of Wave 1, Deluxes and Voyagers.

Noted Prime Abominus set for 7.xx and Single-packed Sinnertwin/Cutthroat at like $1.98 (not their Prime names but you know who I mean)

 

Coralville Target also has multiple Cosmos, Swerves, Rhinoxes, and Whirls.

 

The AOE toys (wave one) are pretty much at every Target in the state now.
And they all seem to have fresh stocks of Cosmos, Swerves, Rhinoxes, and Whirls.

Thought I'd hate the AOE toys, but now.. I cannot wait for wave 2 to arrive.
Although I may have to go with Takara for that Black Knight Grimlock, and I'll prolly just skip all the Hasbro leader sized movie toys for once.

 

Spotted the Evolution of Strafe and Evolution of Grimlock sets at the Davenport Toys'R'Us just now.

Did not see the new Grimlock Kre-o set but shoot dang will I be buying that when I see it.

 

Did you pass on Strafe? I'd buy the TRU version just to have him, looks like the best AOE deluxe. I'd prolly just leave the minicon in the package, lol.

 

Yeah I picked up Strafe but I gotta say I'm fairly disappointed in him. He looks cool and I love the deco and the head sculpt but this figure has a lot of problems. The dino heads don't peg in to anything when he's in bot mode, they just kinda flop there. He's got permanent curling hands which lack any meaningful wrist articulation. His hips are really weirdly shaped so that he's always reverse bow-legged as if he's trying to touch his knees together. All in all, not a great figure and definitely the weakest of the dino-bots that I have (Scorn, Slug, Grimlock). The minicon is uhh..... cute? I dunno, pretty sure that thing is staying in dino-mode and in a box somewhere.

 

Damn, that kinda sucks.. but oddly does not detour me from getting him.
I hope the entire AOE wave 2 (deluxes and voyagers) is spotted in IA soon.

 

Just got back from a run to Toys'R'Us in Davenport and picked up a Grimlock Unleashed Kre-o set (at least one left on the shelf)

It's on the normal aisle with the other Kre-o and Not-Lego stuff but further down towards the other end away from the rest of the AOE sets.

 

I also picked up strafe, I agree it's the weaker if the Dino's I have but there is just something fun about it well at least to me, I'm not sure why the went mini con for the other one it's ok like that's it's g1 colored but still kinda crappy I was hoping for the rest of the Energon set oh well. I did pick up the rescue bots Dino blades and I know it's a dumb purchase but it has a bit of automorph and just fun like a g1 minibot. I find the most fun in the dumbest things lol but I might pick up evasion Optimus today kinda want to have him a dom megs go at it.

 

Evasion Op is probably my favorite figure from wave one. The fact that he manages to go from G1 truck mode to movie bot-mode is awesome!

 

Oh I agree it's just amazing what they did with that toy and I can't wait to get my hands on it to expiernce the engineering for my self but do I wait for one the two pack import or just the domestic, there are to many choices lol more than likely I'll just pick up this first one

 

Clive Toys R Us has deluxe Drift and Slash in stock as well as Masterpiece Grimlock.

 

Found one single deluxe Strafe at Target in Northern IA today. I grabbed it instantly!

 

Picked up Legends Tailgate and Skrapnel at Mills Civic Target. There were several of each left.
