There's no "A" in True Lies and no "T" in Aliens
T in Terminator then A for Aliens
Brief Description Of New Trailer For Chris Nolan's INTERSTELLAR
“After a brief announcement, the trailer unspooled to show Matthew McConaughey driving his truck through corn fields while a lush orchestral score swelled in the background. Later, the fields had caught fire, an ominous dust cloud could be seen looming over a baseball game, and McConaughey (playing a character named Cooper) was reassuring his daughter that he loved her — right before being shot into space in order to save the world.”
Cool. Another thing to see Godzilla for.
When does Intersteller come out? November??? And THEY have a trailer out and transformers 4 with only a month and a half to go still doesn't have an official trailer out yet.
I hate to say it, but my expectations for this movie have suddenly lowered on a massive level. Not because of a trailer or anything, but because every movie this year that I have been wanting to see has been disappointing so far. Only the ones that I had no expectations for like Lego, Capt Amer, and Budapest Hotel have been good.
Should be the hit of the holiday season
I expect Interstellar to be great
Should be the next 2001
First Teaser Poster For Christopher Nolan's INTERSTELLAR
That is a very simple but very well-done poster.
I should be hyped as hell for this considering I'm a pretty diehard Nolan fan, but I don't know... I'm just not feeling it at all yet. Hopefully the new trailer pulls me in, because wow, the teaser did nothing for me.
the movie is coming out on my birthday. Nolan sure wanted to give me a present.
Saw the new trailer last night with Godzilla it was really good. Looking forward to this.

INTERSTELLAR - Official Trailer #2 (2014) [HD] Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway - YouTube
It's very impressive. It reminds me of 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY, but without the robot and more drama and a "disaster-film" angle put in.
The film is dealing with space travel and varying dimensions. The film also looks very poignant and heartfelt - is your child from another reality still your child?
The visuals look absolutely marvelous. Looks like Nolan may have another success - this should be simpler to get than INCEPTION, at least.
That trailer was really boring.
Hah. No. You give Nolan too much credit when it comes to his audience. He could pull a 2001 on us and leave us wondering "Why does my brain always hurt after he twists it with a crowbar and hits the brainstem? WHY?!"
I'm hoping it's pretty straightforward and doesn't rely on his usual bag of tricks, but I have a feeling he wants to make a thinking man's movie and he's going to make us think our brains out. Great, if I'm prepared for it.
See, I try to go to movies as prepared as possible. That way I know what to expect and I usually don't come away disappointed. Or, at least not as much. Like if I know a movie requires me to shut off my brain and go stupid (The Love Guru) or really think (2001: A Space Odyssey) or something the general audience can get (Inception, even if the ending screws with you.) but if it's a movie that catches me off guard, like TASM2 did, then I come away pretty pissed off.
So, I'll wait and see what the critics consensus is (usually gives you the idea behind the film without blowing it) and go from there. I'll watch it regardless, I just want to be prepared. Sometimes, I get blindsided by a film and I'm more than pleasantly surprised.
Looks good as usual. The trailer doesn't give much away, which is fine with me. Most trailers show too much these days.
I'm so going to see this I'm a humongous Nolan fan (go ahead call me a "Nolanite" I don't care!) I like his movies because they make you really think about reality, fuck the ever living shit out of your mind, and have extremely good narrative. Practically every film he did besides TDKR is nearly flawless and brilliantly written. Can't Wait!
I think this could be the sci-fi movie of the year
Inception wants a word (and I love the film but come on).
i saw the trailer, it really confused me. and i got out of the trailer, that micheal cain really wants to get Matthew McConaughey off the planet. by ANY means necessary.
wait, so we run out of food, and the solution is to send people to another planet, rather then work on a solution?
i argue, none of his films are flawless.
sticking with the batvoice, as a starter.
