From wheels as feet to...an actual wheel to move with..the different specturms of movement for transformers in this movie is huge. Do you guys think Scavenger or whatever the Reverse-Arm excavators name is, should really transform back into is alt mode? I really think he should stay away from it actually becase its impractical... But thats just me, what do you think?
I think the movie creates more holes than it fills in. really I guess with that design once your found out there is little reason to hide. I mean look at it the thing is a humongous excavator if he rounded the corner to lose them and then transformed to hide he wouldn't be too hard to notice. His best shot would be if there was another excavator there so they would be momentarily confused
But isn't that just part of the "gimmie" required of enjoying Transformers fiction? Trypticon, Tidal Wave, Omega Supreme, Sky Lynx - they'd all have the same problem.
That is actually a good point...and maybe for that reason is exactley why tidalwave didnt make the cut...it would seem unlikley he would be able to hide, unless he was in the middle of the U.S. Naval fleet...in which case there would be some chance of hiding.. But then again the movie is filled with more concept, and super paint-jobed cars than you can shake a fisk with...so really most of them couldnt hide easily...except for arcee, traxs, and skids
i love that they have unicycle bots, wheel-bots, 4 legged bots or bots that walk like animals. It shows how diverse their physical forms are as alien robots from another planet
His altmode is still better suited for construction, since he is a Constructicon. But if any bot had their alt mode identity compromised they wouldn't be able to just change back to keep hiding. They're able to blend in initially because people don't expect them to be there, but once people know what to look for they're easier to spot, especially if you know what specific vehicle they've become. What's good about this film is that they actually use their given altmodes to their advantage. The Autobots can drive faster then they can run, Starscream could fly better in his jet mode, Brawl was better protected in his tank mode. And for Demolishor, he was better able to work, and blend in, in his excavator mode. But once the Autobots find out about it and confront him, he has to bolt and he's faster and more destructive in bot mode. And personally, I like the different leg types in the movie-verse, brings a lot of variety and alien-isms to the Transformers as a race.
All alt modes in transformers history are bad disguises, due to either being real big vehicles, extra cool sport cars or jets in garish coloring. Only 1 or 3 escape the rule like toasters or ice cream trucks.
Barricade escapes...maybe not with the decepticon logo on the side, but certainly he blended in well enough to be a cop car. Hell, in michigan our cop cars are dodge chargers with blakc windows and lights...they're pretty awesome actually. But yes...especially the centinel concept..that's probabley the worst in my opinion lol
Exactly... Bumblebee as crappy Camaro... great idea. Bumblebee has super new flashy Camaro... not the best disguise. I loved both modes though lol.
