How cool would it have been if Sentinels ship crashed into Mars and they saw it all on that space rover and were covering up that part and stuff.

Yeah, from the last movie I watched about Mars it took the Astronauts atleast 3 months to get to Mars. I don't think Optimus and Ratchet would make it that fast.

Yes but that is with human tech. Hopefully the Transformers have a faster method of space travel or the trip from Cybertron would have taken forever.

Prime's message that Earth was the Autobot's new home would also mean that that the Autobots who showed up two years later would have had to have been following Prime this way if they take as long as we do to get from point A to point B in space.

how about the NASA people detected a collision on Mars bigger then ever. And they created a top secret expedition using secret technology and they find the spaceship there. OR something like that.

 

Wouldn't have worked. I think it was neat how they related real history with the Transformers. Same as the explosion in Chernobyl. If I'm not mistaken, that's how Shockwave got to Earth. The explosion wasn't a nuclear facility, it was the Driller and Shockwave in a meteor.

But yeah, back on topic, the moon was just perfect. It fit the plot well, and made the plot interesting.

 

The Chernobly accident was caused by a Piece of the Ark that Optimus found in the Movie, Shockwave had nothing to do with it.

Horever Shockwave did caused the tunguska event from 1908 and got into stasis lock, only to be reactivated by Megatron in 2010

 

It would have been cool for them to touch on it. Since they talk about it in the 1st film. Maybe. have the Cons using mars as a Staging area/Jump off point?

 

Actually Some Cons like Thundercracker, Hardtop and some drones did stayed on Mars while they waited for Starscream and the others decepticons to complete their mission in the first movie

 

Did we ever find out what bot was caught on tape from the rover on Mars? I'm thinking Soundwave since hes been surveying the area for along time.

On topic. It wouldn't fit to well since it revolves around the moon missions and we have never been to Mars. Not that we know of at least.
