I've had pretty much the same idea floating around in my head for quite a while now. A movie about a person's different personality traits being visually represented by different characters in their head. Guess I should have put some more work into the idea, lol... That said, I would not at all be surprised if they canned this in favor of doing another sequel. Much like they did that movie they were originally going to make that got replaced by Cars 2.
Cars 2 and Newt were in development at the same time. Newt was NOT replaced. newt was canned for other reasons unknown. but its believed that it was canned cause of similarities with the 2011 film Rio and the film named Alpha and Omega. as the 3 films shared the same exact plot. 2 of the last species of a certain animal are beign forced to mate with each other for save their species
summer 2015 is going to be crowded, I hope Transformers 4 doesn't get delayed and put into all that mess
yep. also should be noted that Pixar only releases 1 movie per year (their 2013 film is Monsters University). (but they may an exception in 2015 as another pixar film is stated for a November, 2015 release)
D23 Recap: Disney-Pixar’s THE GOOD DINOSAUR, INSIDE OUT, FINDING DORY, TOY STORY OF TERROR! | Collider There's some good info on the upcoming Pixar movies. Inside Out sounds pretty cool.
So I wonder where this will fit into that fan theory detailing how every Pixar film is set in the same universe, with the underlying arc being the three-way conflict between humans, animals and machines and how they overcome the apocalypse and learn to live together harmoniously, while Boo from Monsters Inc. grows up to be the witch from Brave? That being said, it still sounds like an interesting concept.
‘Inside Out’ Rewrites the Way People Think About the Way People Think | Variety I am really looking forward to this one. Seems like a very cool concept.
