    Great job, too bad bout kickbacks wings though. FANTASTIC, this makes me want to get these guys now as they were a complete pass for me before i saw this.

    Yeah..I would've liked to get the wings on..but honestly the Back Fiery wings work just fine..and they look G1 enough (just not chromed). I think the alt mode, would look pretty awkward with the G1 wings. When I get a chance I'll post a pic of the G1 wings in alt mode, so you can see for yourself.

    Alt mode with the new head in place. The head needs to be turned around and antenna's positioned toward the chest. You will need to shave a bit off of the G1 head's back noggin portion..in order for the head to fully rotate.

    Do you think you can do a tutorial for us? I've never customized anything before but I'm willing to mess up the G1 insecticons to try it. Or you can just PM me. Thanks.

    Shame about the wings for the last Insecticon. But again, the fact that most of these G1 pieces fit soooo well on the FP Insecticons is quite amazing.

    You could always try to hit the FP Back Fiery wings with Alclad II Chrome.

    Man these look fantastic. I makes consider doing the same the mine once I pick them up. I was iffy about replace the parts with g1 parts. But seeing this just says its a no brainer really. :D

    The stickers were pieces from a repro labels insecticon set. The blue pieces on Shrapnel and red/blue pieces on Kickback were just left over bits from on old Superion sticker sheet.
    The heads are original G1 junkers I had laying around.

    I got my three guys on eBay last night and now I'm looking at their repro decals as well. Can't wait to try this.
