I'm going berserk. I haven't seen anything new in such a long time. Still on the hunt for SS86 Grimlock! Striking out on the Masters of the Universe stuff too.
I haven’t seen them. I keep looking everywhere. I just saw a sighting from southern Indiana though for them. Side note I found SS86 Grimlock at Walmart in Warsaw this weekend. Only one there.
Bloomington Walmart has a bunch of SS86 Grimlocks. I counted 18 of them! They also have a couple of the SS86 deluxes.
Indy 86th St Super Walmart Nothing "new" but a good restock. 2x SS Grimlock, 2x SS Blurr Lotsa headmasters 2x Black Arachnia, 2x Warpath Restock of RED Soundwave, Optimus Prime, and Megatron
Indy West Side 38th St Target 1x Primal, lots of SS Grimlock, wave 1 of kingdom core. Moller Rd Meijer 2x Sky Lynx, 1x Grapple Lafayette Rd Super Walmart - first restock this year, I think. It's usually bad so I don't check often. 2x Blurr, 2x Kup, lotsa SS Grimlock Lots of Netflix Prime and Soundwave, 1x Elita-1 1x Black Arachnia, 1x Cheetor, 1x Warpath Restock of wave 1 RED, lots of headmasters
That same Layfayette Wally had a case of wave 2 voyagers. I opened it myself and took Dinobot and Inferno. Left 1 dinobot in the box.
I did a WM check out west of SB today. I'm still looking for a NF Soundwave, while also kicking myself for not grabbing the one wild one I saw at my WM in January. LP Walmart still has a Hotlink, Valpo Target has several SS Grimlocks, and Valpo and MC WMs are pretty bare. Since I'm new to the forum, can I ask what everyone's opinion on the likelihood of finding a NF Soundwave at this point in time, if WMs having Hotlinks indicates whether those WMs are hanging on to Wave 2 NF Voyagers or not, etc. I've been searching for at least a month and I know I missed the NF Soundwaves in one location other than my main one. I'm really thinking I may just have to get a scalped one from ebay.
I haven’t seen many Soundwaves since the initial release and I have seen Wal Marts with a dozen or more of the Prime that came in the same case. I don’t think he’s likely to shelfwarm. Columbus Target had a crap ton of SS86 Grimlocks.
I figured as much. I caved and bought one from ebay. It's not as bad a markup as the Amazon exclusives I missed out on, but I'm still not happy about it. I only started collecting Transformers toys at the beginning of the year. I just wanted Springer, though that transitioned to "I want the 86 movie cast," and that snowballed into I want all of the relevant legacy characters.
Yeah, I go through cycles of collection completion with various different nerdy interests. This happened with PotP when I still worked at TRU. I still have them all, but I think I may try to sell the ones that won't fit in with the Earthrise/Kingdom collection. I wasn't as interested in Siege unless the character isn't known for having an Earth mode.
