Hi there at TFW2005, I'm new to this board and I hope that this is the right section for this information: We are producing and independent transformer toy; a transforming articulated bus model called "Robobuz". We now opened our early preorder site for the toys: Robobuz Toy Model Pre-Order Site There's also a You Tube video of the transformation: YouTube - Bus Transformer Robobuz V1.0 And a free Flash game: ROBOBUZ - TWK AG And here are some early images of the package design: and the back side: Hope you like it! Best regards, Thomas Update due to FAQ: Yes, knees will be bendable correctly and the bus joint will also bend correctly. Toy will come fully assembled and painted. The bus joint sleeve parts are flexible and the tires are made of rubber.
Some photos of this project that were posted at Robot Japan (I hope you don't mind, Tom!) Looks very cool! And if I'm not mistaken, the first transforming bus design to make it to toy form.
Do want! anyone known the price in dollars? too stupid and lazy to figure it out myself, do the work for me. ....but no really...do it.
Hmmm interesting. Not yet enough to toss out a pre-order, but interesting to keep track of. The name kind of stinks. Paint it orange/brown and call it RoadBuzter? (knee slap on that one) The head does have an RB look to it, which makes sense considering where his toy's history comes from. Not enough guns! €34.90 = ~$50 So $50 before shipping, which undoubtedly needs to go overseas in some direction. Probably around $90 I'd guess. I'm no pro at international shipping estimates.
Congratulations! It looks great. Could you tell us how tall the robot is and how long the bus is in centimeters for size comparison? About $50 with the pre-order discount.
pretty cool ~ i'm curious how big he is, if he was in scale with Deluxe cars would be really tempting... Anyone going to arrange a "group buy"? Also interesting that he's pretty much in G1 Sixshot colors... while i've kinda wanted a bus-former for a while, it also kinda reminds me of that scene in "Big" ~ it turns into a building?!?!?
For around $50 I'm interested, but I'm going to wait and see if they get imported by TFsource or someone else first. There has been at least one other, but it wasn't anywhere near this good.
