I saw this on another forum and I figured I'd ask here.
Like the title says, in which game franchise have you completed the most games?

For myself, I knew it was between Mega Man and Castlevania. When I counted, Mega Man won 17-15. I own a handful of games from both franchises that I have not yet beaten, so that number could change in the future.

NES:
MM1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

SNES:
MM7, MMX, MMX2, MMX3

GB:
MMI, II, III, IV

PS1:
MM8, MM Legends

PS3:
MM9

Own but haven't beaten:
MM10, MM11, MMX4, MMX5, MMV (GB), MM Xtreme (GBC)

I own 5 Castlevania games that I haven't beaten (Bloodlines, Dracula X, Lament of Innocence, Chronicles, Lords of Shadow), so I could pass MM if I get on my horse...

 

I’ve finished all mainline Pokémon games and most Zelda games

 

Either Resident Evil or Mario depending on how broad your definition is of the latter.

 

Megaman, without a doubt. MMX-6, MMZ-4, MMBN-6.

Although, to be honest, for a loose definition of "beat", as my scrub gamer younger self made heavy use of emulators and save states for the majority of those.

For properly purist victories, it'd have to go to Final Fantasy: I, II, V, VII, VIII, IX, XIII, and XIII-2 in my case.

 

Either Mario, or Call of Duty.

Or wait.... maybe Street Fighter. Although some of them, I didn't beat the game with every single character. And would the crossover sf games count?

 

Hmmmm...good point.

In my case, all of the Mega Man games were beaten on original hardware, while on the CV side Simon’s Quest was beaten using an emulator and save states (even though I own the game). So I guess that makes it 17-14 in favor of Mega Man if you want to only count “legit” completion

Just realized that the Ace Attorney series totals pretty high on the count as well. I've only been able to play via the IOS ports, so I'm currently missing out on the Professor Layton crossover, for the games that have been officially translated into English. But that makes seven entries, with:

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
Phoenix Wright: Justice for All
Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
Ace Attorney Investigations
Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies
Phoenix Wright: Spirit of Justice

So that's only one entry less than my Final Fantasy conquests.

 

Pokémon Blue, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, FireRed, Diamond, Platinum, SoulSilver, Black 1, Black 2, X, Omega Ruby, Moon, Ultra Moon.

 

Mario, Zelda, DQ and FF.

 

I got like 1600 games and beaten nearly all except for about 50 or so.

So it would take a looooooooooooooooooong time to type them all.

But I'll go with the legendary Mario Games.

 

Every mainline Pokemon game (except Blue, Gold and Shield, but I'm working on that) XD, Colosseum, Stadium 1 and 2, Snap, and Ranger. With multiples on each.

 

I just counted.
Every main line Pokémon game minus those 3 = 29 games.

So that's including the remake-type games like FireRed/LeafGreen or Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, right?

 

Yup.

 

Well that's easy for me they are listed below.

1. Assassins Creed
2. Lego games ALL of them

 

Mario because there are more of them than any franchise.

Pokemon with 6: Blue, Red, Yellow, Silver, Gold, and Ruby

CoD and LoZ come in at a tie for second with 4 games each

CoD: CoD2 Big Red One, Modern Warfare, 3, and World at War
LoZ: Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time, Windwaker, and Twilight Princess

 

Pokemon I think is the series I’ve finished the most games of, about 7 or 8. Still a few I didn’t finish mind, but I still love them.
