I'm sitting at work watching ROTF, and the scene where he went nuts in his astronomy class and started writing Cybertronian on the chalkboard and talking about energon, I vaguely overheard something about Sentinel Prime. If only just the name. Sorry if this was once mentioned before. But it finally caught my ear. I have it on DVD, but I'm watching it right now on FX, so if anyone wants to go back and give it a listen for confirmation?
"14 galactic convergences it took for the Sentinel Prime expedition to get an echo on it's signal". This is what he said I believe. Correct me if I am wrong.

You still have only one thing connecting ROTF to DOTM because the two video game tie-ins have nothing to do with one another. They're made by different developers, run on different engines, and play much differently.
Yeah I was only referring to the DOTM video game being the only connection between the ROTF & DOTM movies.. Well until I heard Sam mention Sentinel Prime of course.
I wonder what that line means. Even though I doubt it was a clever idea to have it foreshadow DOTM I'm sure we could implant logic to it like good fans.
The tie-in comics imply that the "expedition" in question was a mission led by Sentinel to find and teleport a sun into Cybertron's system.
