In regard to voice acting

    I forget who it is but there is someone on here whos been remotely sucessful in voice acting and has done some actual work and met some popular voice actors I can't remember who it is though.

    you need to take acting lessons because one thing you will need to learn is how to take direction without blowing a fuse.

    directors will suggest trying a line several different ways, but if you are a one trick pony, they'll see it and you'll hit a wall.

    another suggestion- listen to stuff other than cartoons and anime. listen to books on tape, radio plays (BBC does that alot) or record audio of TV shows to listen on your MP3 player.
    pay attention to nuance, to inflection, not the action.

    It would also help to READ aloud everything you can get your hands on. if you can make the ingredients on a jar of Peanut Butter sound good, you are headed in the right direction.
