Hmmmm, I'm not sure about these two.

Maybe I need to see posed pics to like them more.

Twinferno looks really good. I'm surprised he's shorter than Hot Rod though. Hot Rod looks good too, but I'm not yet sure if I want to buy it.

On any other toy, I'd be annoyed at how chunky the tail is. But Twinferno's got dragon heads for hands, translucent wings, strangely organic limbs, and his head pops off and turns into an eyepatch-wearing lion; the fat tail is at home.

Nothing will best the original doublecross for awesome ratchets and quality construction but twinferno look amazing, I love that the leg transformation has been much improved.

Doublecross looks perfect, nothing much else to say.

Hot Rod, well, let me just say that since he will be my first Hot Rod (not counting the CW Legends), he looks really cool.

Doublecross looks all around pretty spectacular. No serious gripes.

Hot Rod here looks worse then ever: his red and yellow plastic look flat and cheap, his proportions are way too lanky, shoulders to big, suffer from a similar overly flat chest issue as the MP redux (at least this version has some taper to waist), the engine block on the chest looks tacky and distracting, the sunk abs are still weird looking, the sculpt of the spoiler is pretty dull/not as dynamic as it should be, because he's a Headmaster his head seems proportionally just a little too large (probably due too his overly lanky proportions...) and the unpainted grey plastic for the pipes looks as tired as ever.

He does look to have some interesting bits too his transformation: i like the way his kneepads become exhausts/taillights/back of car greeblies and the back sidewalls of the car folds over the back of the legs which serves the dual purpose of letting him have more animation accurate front legs AND covering up the hollows of the back of legs that the transformation requires.

Kinda looking to Takara to save this one: despite my laundry list of issues, I still kinda like it, but the dull looking plastic is really hurting him in my eyes - a more dynamic deco would do wonders.

Needs a wrist swivel so the 5mm peg holes for the gun can face up when the arms are bent. That's the only thing I can see.

fair enough! i didn't really notice that, he does have "body builder arm" syndrome doesn't he ~ yeah, wrist swivels would be nice and make him way better, but doesn't bother me in his case all that much since he has dragon head hands :p

Love how both look, especially Hot Rod since the proportions are much better than the ones from the Classics version and has much better articulation to boot.

Doublecross looks nice but the fact that his wrists can't rotate hurts a lot of his articulation.

I appreciate the extra mile they went to allow the wheels on Hot Rod's legs to fold away from view, not something I'd expect out of a 2016 deluxe. The alt mode is really begging for some silver paint on the wheels and exhaust pipes.

I definitely want these guys. Hot Rod is just what I have been looking for aside from the Headmaster, but that's just a bonus.

I want to see a comparison between the TR and Classics Hot Rod molds before I jump on the bandwagon. I think he looks pretty good though, just not sure he's good enough to buy a second Hot Rod figure.

Pretty much my exact feeling. Hot Rod looks... fine... but something about him makes me not really feel like buying. Doublecross looks outstanding, though. That, I want.
