Darn, he does indeed look fantastic.

Definitely buying this box-set. Only BotCon one I've cared for besides Stunti-Con Job.

I think what's really helped keep my interest in this as well is that none of the third party Scorponoks we're getting appear to be using the US animation/comics head; rather they seem more inspired by the Headmasters design (which admittedly is more toy accurate to begin with).

Looking forward to having him in hand; wouldn't mind a picture of him straight-on though so we can properly see how the new neck looks.

This keeps looking better and better. Would LOVE to see some more images of this one, maybe one of the headmaster by itself.

    Don't like it!

Hasbro should've capitalized off of Monstrocity by making a new modern version of Scorponok as a Leader class figure.

That would've sold throw the roof!

Looks like they got the colors right. However, the mold just looks funky to me. I would rather buy the original Scorponok if they reissued it.

Maybe the first BotCon toy in more than a decade that I would like to own.

I agree. I wasn't interested in getting that energon mold back then, but damn that looks nice in those colors and with the headmaster to!

If the cost is too great, I'll probably pass on this.

Pretty much. Non-attending sets are now sold out. Only way to get this is gonna be getting someone to middleman you toys or through eBay/sales threads.
