    I would be pretty cool with both Optimus and Megatron being female.

    Hell, I would bet that there's an alternate universe where both of them are female in the current continuity.

    in his defense that's just animated dragstrip....G1 dragstrip, which CW dragstrip is an update of, is male. he's right that dragstrip is a male but he's a little more annoyed by it than anyone ever should be.....

    I'm not sure why this is such an issue, really. In all official sources, including TV and comics, Dragstrip has been, and always was, a male character. Only that one BotCon made him into a female and it was a one off, a one shot that didn't affect anything outside of the convention and their own fiction. In fact, most casual fans that came into this world of collecting around the same time didn't even know BotCon existed, so chances are they'd have seen the Stunticons and thought "...uh, isn't dude a dude? Why's he a chick in this one?"

    If you choose to see Dragstrip as a chick, that's your right, it's technically incorrect, but it is your right.

    Even still, it's not worth fighting over and I really don't get why people can't admit they're wrong when presented facts, that just drives me nuts.
