Agreed. Lots of dead space in the center, and yet a good bit of each figure is covered up (likely to help deter some easy theft....which is still going to happen). A smaller box with more visible figures would have been a lot nicer.

I wouldn't. I'd buy the mould, but not in those colours. Same with the Bumblebee.

In Starscream's case it's because I don't want the battle damage. In Bumblebee's case it's because that altmode would be better suited to another character.

I like how they're looking, and wow, I was not expecting them to go bigger. Hasbro has gotten much better at controlling the necessary hollow tastefully.
Don't mind the colors at all, the trailer implied some of them had to be restored best the resistance could. I'm sure if the line does well, there will be cleaner "before the game" decos/retools.

Man these guys are pretty dang tall for their size classes.
Why can't we get this in the rest of the line?!
Oh yeah, corporate greed and budgets.

Starscream looks great, that being said I still hope for a clean version eventually.

So after thinking it over a bit I think I've come to an "explaination" (read: explaination, not excuse) on why these are like these.

The main thing isn't actually when they were made, but the higher budgets then did help. Bmac mentioned in the stream that these figures were intentionally a bit more advanced and detailed because their target audience were gamers who'd play the game first and want collectibles from it. Hence why this is its own line and all that. This is why though seemingly most a US thing, that they have that markup. If I had to guess. There is a lot of guessing with this.

They are definitely technically bigger but I cannot agree with the sentiment we are getting more than usual. Id also be curious to see Bumblebee on a scale, we all remember how nice the PWT leaders felt? And though nicely hidden from the front there's more hollowness than I am used to and... okay so I never cared about that ten years ago but we got past that point so it bothers me now. There is more paint on them than anything from PWT and some stuff now ofc but mostly to create an effect I have not seen anyone dig, the end result is a Bumblebee car with no windows so it doesn't look like its covered in paint. Ive not missed ball joint arm joints either

I also just wish Bee was smaller. Maybe that's perfectly accurate game scale but from day one Bee has looked to me like an oversized deluxe just proportionally. Starscream is great and these are limited run items not sold in my country so whatever. Id buy these on sale but that is not happening.

Oh no Im the negative one this time. Will only say it once though

These figures go so freaking HARD. Comparing the Bee to GE Bee is so sad. The good one is from an upcoming video game we haven't heard updates of in forever, and not the game released 10 years ago that people are super nostalgiac for

His listing images are still stretched out to match Starscream's size.

Still looks amazing though, but it's still weird that they did that

Both really, really nice designs. Starscream is a really nice variation on the classic design and the "rough and tumble" aesthetic to Bee works surprisingly well.

Yeah these look great! Hope they’re not floppy and had enough time to cook in the R&D oven.

I know it’s supposed to be battle damage, but I actually quite like the asymmetry of both of their designs—it’s kind of refreshing. I don’t do games, and this is probably another one where the Transformers are subservient to human operatives or something like that, so I almost certainly will never play it, but the toys are cool.

I think I might cancel my pre orders. Not really feeling it with the size of the four figures

Man I love this seeker mold. I really love Starscream with blue eyes. It just fits the entire fallen angel I’m the handsomest of all Decepticons vibe he was originally intended to have. He just stands out from all the other seeker jets the same way as Thrust stands out from the other coneheads. He should have a tattoo saying Blue Eyed Demon in his jet mode.

Hasbro really should have delayed the SSGE WFC figures and just gave us these to start that subline…

Battle Damage has never really bothered me...although to be honest not many of the Bots in my Collection actually have any.

And for some reason this Bumblebee reminds me of Springer. Like splash on some strong forest green paint, give him a new head sculpt and a bunch of weapons and bang...a non-triple changing Springer.
