Yup, I guess I am getting this when Hasbro releases theirs. I can use the MP-04 as the truck mode behind him.

I don't know if I can hold off waiting for the price to come down. Damn it, have to quit clicking on MP-10 threads.

    Not sure how this

looks like flat leather boots on MP-10.
When I think masterpiece, I think of detail that goes beyond what you would expect. When you press down on the feet of MP-01 and the vents pop up like it's relieving pressure, that just blows me away because it's more than I would expect earning the respect of the name Masterpiece.
I still think MP-10 is an awesome figure, and I do want him badly, but if MP-01 represented masterpiece class, then this should be a class lower.

Takara MP Prices don't generally move downwards.

It actually appears to have been bumped up to the 20th according to my supplier. My shipment of these, MP-09 Ver. 2, and More UN-07 BB was sent out on the 21st and shows an import scan here in town as of today.

Wow! Based on these photos, I'd say he looks better than his previous Masterpiece counterpart! The torso is just so nicely done, and I believe his feet are more stable now compared to the old one which just wanted to give way all the time.

Honestly it look really nice other than the terrible feet and gun. Still not getting it since I have 20th Anniversary Prime though. No point in getting another Optimus MP.

I agree with this. I think his high price is a downer, but ultimately it's his construction and QC that will finalize my decision. He LOOKS great, but early looks won't tell you how easy it is to break a panel off or a mystery spring that coils and jams inside.

Yup, I'm waiting for the Hasbro version of this shit. I'm not paying $190 for a plastic box.

I really don't like how his feet look in robot mode. That's one of the few things I think MP-01 did better, at least on a pure aesthetic level.

Yeah, aesthetically, they're good. On a practical/mechanical level, oh good god. Short footprint, combined with relatively weak balljoint and a big, heavy diecast toy? Yuck.

Is MP10 confirmed for a US release, or is that just reasonable speculation?

Initial reports are that he's 90%+ plastic so probably not a problem. That being said his price makes even less sense now that we know that he has practically no diecast.
