They are repaints. Something the energon combiners haven't as yet had. Classics 1 got a Devastator repaint of Constructicon Maximus. Universe 2 is getting the other two.

I'll definately be passing on these sad excuses for G1 inspired combiners. Especially with all the red/blue clear plastic hands and feet. I swear it's almost worse than movie voyager Megatron. And that figures was/is an epic failure.

I dunno....just like the Devastator, they might be cool if they had 5 different 'bots, instead of the repainted ones. makes it look cheesy, and rushed, and smacks of a quick way to make a buck.

count me out. I have better things to waste my money on. Like taxes.

Just like the Classics Devestator, but in Universe style, I like it. I wish they had named him just Bruticus & skipped the Maximus though, but it dosen't matter. I wonder what the price point will be?

but i think i might not display them combined and "hide" the Silverbolt and Onslaught that come with these sets

 

The Cybertron Scourge repaint was already named Bruticus. Obviously they can't sell two different toys at a similar size the exact same name.

 

Do want both of these, I love combiners.

I think the classics Devastators was supposed to be around $30, although when it came out at walmart they had it on clearance around me and I got it for $14.88. I am thinking these will be exclusives again like Devastators was. As long as they are not costco/sams/bj's exclusives.

They look okay. I already have some of these torso or limbs so I really don't need 3 or 4 of the toys that are basically the same.

 

Superion looks awesome! I like him better than Bruticus.
