Dinobot a Predacon?

 

So much for my hopes of Cyclonus, Part Deux with Dinobot. Even the boxart is colored to look like that. I just can't understand why, but that's fine, that's the beauty of having a choice.

 

It may not be show accurate, but I kinda like it.

Anyways, what does the blurb on pointing to h is chest say?
Does he switch from Predacon to Maximal or Predacon to Decepticon?

edit: Never mind, I can see it says Maximal to Predacon.

I'm guessing they're marketing him as a decepticon/predacon as a contrast to cheetor.

 

Apparently he has a faction symbol switching gimmick on his chest, so you can have him as a predacon or maximal.

 

I may be in the majority, but I like the deco on this guy. I also like how they've made him a Predacon. I've always preferred him as a Pred than a Maximal. The box art looks really good too, and it helps confirm that the firing missile can also be used as his sword. I might actually get him, though it's more than likely going to be an in-person decision.

Where on the package does it say missile converts to sword? How can he even hold the missle inhand. Do want this

 

You can see that the box art has him holding the missile as a sword. It really isn't that hard to imagine with the actual toy, as most missiles are thin enough to fit into the average TF's fist.

That way, Henkei Dinobot can be his BW self, and Universe Dinobot can be a clone made by Megatron (like in Season 1, only one that transforms)

 

Poor Chopperface looks like he's screaming "Halp!" the way he's packaged on the card.

I had not though about that. That is such a cool, slightly expensive, idea! Though who am I kidding? I was going to buy Henkai Cyclonus and Universe Cyclonus with the latter being His Armada.

 

So - who wants to try and make out what that bio says?

Kind of a good idea, when you think about it. Dinobot was (and always is) a Predacon. However, he joined the Maximals to get revenge on Megatron. I think it's pretty neat.
