Some of you may remember this thread from back in 2018.
Heavy/Scratch: - WIP: Improved Combiner Wars Liokaiser

I ended up finishing that Liokaiser, but I wasn't happy with it, mostly because the arms were too close to the torso.

I then redesigned the torso, but I still wasn't happy with most of Liokaiser being a frame, especially when the original toy had so little kibble.

Eventually, I figured out a solution that reduced the kibble down to a head, hands, and feet (albeit at the cost of slightly more awkward robot proportions), and here it is.

First, let's introduce the new members of the Breastforce!
All of the heads used were designed by @SteamShield.

    Leozack:
The paint on the figure is somewhat worn, which makes sense considering that I painted it three years ago. I chose not to paint the tail fins because I was worried that the paint would flake off.

Lego ball joints have been added to Leozack's shoulders for the combination. The thighs have been left unpainted because I was worried that they wouldn't hold paint well.

IMG_4633.JPG Here's Leozack from behind. The backs of the feet (where the front and back of the legs connect) have been rounded off for the combination.

    Jallguar:

The figure's forearms have been replaced with 3D printed pieces that double as missile launchers in vehicle mode. These pieces have Lego socket joints, which will be used to connect Jallguar to Leozack. The feet have been replaced with new pieces that accept Combiner Wars joints. The Combiner Wars connectors are based on a design by @DrakkenZero.
IMG_4635.JPG The combiner port has been replaced by a piece that holds a modified Combiner Wars Onslaught chest plate. IMG_4637.JPG In robot mode, the new arms, feet, and chest plate can be seen. The fists were designed by Ellindsey on Thingiverse. IMG_4638.JPG Here's Jallguar from the back.
IMG_4639.JPG The new hands can still hold 5mm accessories.

    Hellbat:
I never really liked the Combiner Wars Skydive mold with its awkward arms. For that reason, I replaced Fellbat with a modified blue KO Slingshot. In jet mode, Hellbat looks very similar to the KO Slingshot. I wanted to paint the wings white, but I couldn't find an easy way to mask them.
    IMG_4643.JPG
In Robot mode, Hellbat looks like the KO, but with a white chest. The paint used for the head doesn't quite match, but it's close enough for me.
    IMG_4644.JPG Here's Hellbat from behind.
IMG_4645.JPG And here's Hellbat next to Fellbat.

The new members look good with the rest of the Breastforce.

    Combine to form Liokaiser!

Killbison and Drillhorn form the legs.
    IMG_4650.JPG
Guyhawk and Hellbat form the arms.
    IMG_4651.JPG
    Jallguar becomes a frame.
IMG_4653.JPG And Leozack becomes the core.
    IMG_4655.JPG
Leozack goes inside of Jallguar. IMG_4659.JPG
The Lego ball joints and sockets connect. IMG_4660.JPG And the hood of Jallguar's vehicle mode slides up to make the backpack more cohesive IMG_4661.JPG
The limbs attach to the torso.
    IMG_4663.JPG IMG_4667.JPG
And the head goes into the port on Leozack's chest.
    IMG_4668.JPG

    Liokaiser:
Here is Liokaiser in all of his glory. IMG_4669.JPG
He is capable of posing, but is far from the sturdiest combiner.
IMG_4670.JPG From behind, he is relatively clean. IMG_4671.JPG And here he is next to Combiner Wars Liokaiser (or Deathkaiser) with random limbs and the wings of a KO Deathsaurus. A massive improvement, if I do say so myself.
    IMG_4676.JPG Thanks for looking!

That's not a bad idea how you got the torso to work. Good distribution of mass so no member looks much bigger than the other.

I applaud all the work and dedication you put into both versions! The new engineering is impressive and looks amazing.

It doesn't matter how sturdy it is when it looks that cool

That's some really clever engineering on the torso

    Really really cool.

Once again, convergent evolution in custom combiner design.
