I can't say I love the mold, but god I would hav ebought it instantly.

Why the most interestings figures are the ones that cancell?

 

To reiterate, it's a TCC concept that didn't get made for one reason or another. So it's not something Hasbro would ever have done.

That said I'd LOVE to see this done with the Titans Return Windblade mold. TakaraTomy could do something great with it.

 

Supposedly Botcon 2017 would have been Animated again... someone mentioned it in the other thread

 

i never actually watched animated too much, but the ones i did made me like her! this would've been cool...

Uggggh, that is frustrating. I was totally fine with Botcon ending last year until you said that.  

Oh well.

As for the Sari figure, I'd be all over such a figure, but that first Windblade mold isn't great. Maybe, as someone said, it's just as well. Would be nice if someday she did get a figure, though, perhaps from a better mold. I mean, we're accustomed to not necessarily getting toys of the humans from TF media, but that shouldn't apply to her as she actually IS a Transformer.

Darn. I recently regrew my affection for the show (as it was the show I grew up with) so seeing that this would have been Botcon 2017 disappoints me greatly.

 

Well, there is a new Windblade mold coming. It would for her, and all she would need was a new Titanmaster face.

 

I'd would find that amusing that Windblade ends up getting retooled into two of most well known animated fembots.

I guess including Animated Headmaster as a compliment piece would be nice as well. Heck, i'd be impressed if Hasbro used that idea in a clever way.

 

Keep Windblade out of Animated. I don't want that abomination of a character related to the last truly great TF series in any way, shape or form.

 

If Hasbro decides to include Sari in one of their future box sets using their TR Windblade figure that would be sweet.

 

We dodged a bullet. That mould is terrible, and wouldn't make a particularly great Sari. Plus, an original head would have to be much smaller to fit on that mould.

I would've honestly prefered any female TF mould besides that. Hell, even Warrior Windblade would've been better.

Funpub were their own undoing. Also, it's not like it would've been a proper Animated Sari. In fact that whole year's theme was rumoured to be a De-Animated theme, which to me kind of nullifies most of the point of Animated.

Dang, would've liked to see that, but given the history of Botcon toys (and the 2016 "BW anniversary" Botcon set), like Sari there, the vast majority of stuff would be trying to make Animated characters out of Generation/CW/TR/RID molds, which wouldn't really work (RID might kinda-sorta a little bit)

I'd have been OK with nothing but recolors and re-heads of the Voyager Starscream/seeker and Hydrodive Bumblebee molds, myself
