This has got to be the worst villain I've ever seen in history. He's basically the spongebob of this franchise who's "ok" at first but as decades pass; he starts becoming a serious annoyance with his cheap villainy trope of "I will conquer the universe" or "Die Autobots!". Cyberverse has eventually became the final nail in the coffin, I wouldnt be surprised if Optimus in that series said "How many times do we have to teach you this lesson, old man!!!!". Hasbro needs to come up with a new supervillain for "Fan Vote" or something because I am SICK AND TIRED of this remedial jackass acting like he's the shit just because he's got a dozen henchmens behind his back everywhere he goes. I've seen way better decepticon leaders (or supervillains PERIOD) in a comic book that never made to cinemas or the TV screen. The only "good" aspect we got out of him was with BW and that ain't even the same character!

Is it too much to ask for hasbro to just shut up and move on from him!?!?!? It's 2020 and no one gives a damn about megatron anymore except them!!!!!!

Sorry, but there will never be Autobot and Decepticon leaders who won't be named Optimus Prime and Megatron, regardless of what continuity it is. You'll just have to stay butthurt

I mean, why not bitch about Shredder from TMNT, Cobra Commander from GI Joe, or Skeletor from He-Man/Masters of the Universe? They whine about wanting to conquer whatever and "Die, *insert hero group name here*" just as much.

Have you even read Megatron's original tech spec?

I beg to differ. I quite enjoy Megatron. While it's perfectly fine if you're sick of Megatron and want another Decepticon leader to take center stage, the fact is, Megatron does have his fans. As such, your claim is manifestly false.

I... don't quite understand the point of this particular complaint. Initially, you expressed dissatisfaction with the way Megatron was written, with his "cheap villainy tropes" and all that. If that's the case then why this call for more powers? There are plenty of super powerful, yet terribly written characters in various works of fiction, whose absurd power levels only serve to make their defeats improbable and render the villain ridiculous as a result. In short, more powers don't make a better character.
