all the games i have that are online capable seem to be either full of nothing but "leet" players or hackers it's getting fustrating sorry i just had to vent. i'm not the best player but i'm decent so i know it's cause i'm not that bad lol.

i felt the same way about arcades.
see a new game, plop in my 2 bits and before i could get the feel of the game, some 8th grade dropout would pwn me.
i played online just a couple times and it felt the same way.
especially with games like Battlefield 2.

well i don't mean games like that i'm refering to stuff like fps games are the ones it seems like theres hackers on them *battlefield series has them bad* .but yeah i end up getting owned on fighting games too cause yeah it's like everyone else spends nothing but there freetime on those games and can play them in there sleep it seems.

I'd have to say I agree and Disagree. When I first got my my 360 people in Halo online were flying, and dissapearing, then microsoft fixed that. Same with COD:W@W on PS3. (it is bull shit what some people do just to win a video game) But after playing a while, and building friends on my list, I got better, and started to be the pwner.
Maybe you just need some more time online.

 

i hear stories of lag switches for street fighter. seriously, whats the point? i just don't understand how you could get any satisfaction from that.

i just don't get it - its not like if you were in the same room you could use one. and i mean, why play a 1 on 1 fighting game if you're going to try and cheat? i just odn't understand the logic or though patterns.

 

i don't understand the logic of cheating to begin with well online i don't single player i do cause in most cases like my self who've beaten the game already and just wanna screw around in the single player but multiplayer that's different your not playing against AI your playing against someone who's trying to have fun not some a'hole who's trying to one up you *but then again they maybe i don't know* and i'd build up the list if i had friends *yeah i'm a loser i don't care*.

 

It's simple really. They hope the lag screws people up enough that they can't fight well. They just wanna own champ mode/ranked matches and get up there on the leaderboard, just so they can sit back and stroke their e-cocks. What's funny though, is that should they get to G1 or even S1 rank, they'd probably get absolutely demolished if they tried to fight legitly.

Same thing happened back in Halo 2 and in Halo 3. My friends and I would absolutely own another team and then notice afterward that atleast half of them were lv50s(H2) or Generals(H3). That high in rank and played like shit? Pretty obvious what went on there.

Some miserable wastes of life just suck at games, but still have a sick need to be #1 and brag about it, and will do anything and everything it takes to get there. Be it simply pulling the plug to avoid a loss. Using lag switches/standbying to lag the game or causing people to be lagged out of it. Taking advantage of bugs. Or even going so far as modding their console so they can hack the game.

Seriously, what kind of sad, sad individual do you have to be to be willing take apart your console and do shit to it, just to be able to cheat?

i have said it before, i do suck so at video games.
i modded a PS2 and bought a Codebreaker because of my said suckage.
never gave myself totally unfair advantages, either.
But i never cheated a fellow gamer.

To hack or use cheats in the online realm is robbing someone of their money and their fun.
and it makes me wish they'd pass a law (at least in PSN/XBox Live) that if you can catch or prove a turbo revving punk cheating like that, you get a free pass to his house and pwn him with a belt or an old school frathouse paddle, lol.

nah it's still good to hook it up theres plenty of games that have decent people playing them just got to be careful for the rooms full of mastered players or cheaters my problem is i use my ps3 and pc for online gaming so theres really no match up system like on 360 it's just pick a room and go most the time.
