Um...so I have a quick question about posting a thread that I'm not really sure how to word...

I've lately been looking for a transformers related item that I'm not sure ever existed. The Item in general (if made) was similar to those fleece blankets that came out for the '07 movie. I guess my question is that, can I start a thread asking people here if they ever remember seeing what I'm looking for? I'm posting this just because I reread the forum rules first that stated...

    7. No Website Advertising
Any posts or threads to promote a website or store, Transformers related or not, will be removed.
    ...

I'm just a little confused because most of those blankets came from Walmart and I'm not sure that if I posted a thread that asked if anybody had remembered seeing this at Walmart, if it would break that rule.

I know that this sounds really confusing,  I confused myself typing it. But if anyone can understand past my lengthy wall of words and give me the heads up if this is allowed or not it would be greatly appreciated. :)  Thanks!

EDIT: Also, if it is allowed where would I post my thread?

Thanks for asking or the clarification! No need to worry about rule #7, what you are asking is perfectly within what we allow (and encourage!)

I'd say the best place to ask would be in Transformers General Discussion - it's a good question as to whether you consider the wider merchandising a part of the "toy specific" angle of toy discussion, or something for the general discussion, I think TFGD personally is the better fit.

Great! Thank you! :D  Phew, I was seriously starting to have my doubts there for a second. So I can include Walmart just for that part of my question?
