Hello, I just got a new GPU - the GTX 1050 but unfortunately my old PC monitor supports only VGA and the graphics card does not! However I do have a TV monitor that has an HDMI port and also a VGA one. Now, the thing is that I don't know much about adapters, I mean I've heard of them but that's all I never really got interested in researching on it. Can someone who obviously is a technician or has the knowledge provide me with any suggestions or ideas? What should I be looking for? Thanks.

P.S. There's a DVI port on my PC's case, though I do not believe it is of any good, or is it?

DVI to VGA adapter and run off the back of the 1050 to your monitor or buy a better monitor with HDMI or Display Port input (better).

Either that or just hook the pc up to your TV via HDMI. That seems like your best choice without spending any money.

Don't bother with the onboard video, they're all crap.
