Yeah Forbidden Planet's second tweet implies there was something else meant to be announced today - I bet Prime's tweet was scheduled and they just reacted to that.

 

I know they're not toy announcements, but all of these shows are pretty big deals. And vicariously mean new toys to go with them!

The Nick show being a variation on Rescue Bots aimed at slightly older kids would be cool. Like Cyberverse but staying on Earth this time.

 

So is there still supposed to be a '77 Bumblebee coming or is OP what that actually was? I can't remember if any of the leakers specifically said the Bumblebee was definitely happening or if it was just speculation based on a new MPM listing.

 

Was there more than the Nick comedy? That one sounds like Botbots more than anything

 

No, '77 Camaro Bumblebee was rumored too, along with a Barricade re-release.

 

They mentioned both separately, and I think they said botbots was Netflix too.

They're moving to toys now, I think, so we'll probably see stuff soon.

Yeah, they happened to air a good amount between my classes during my lunch break, so I got lucky.

Totally bummed out that we didn't get any news at the moment, but I'm sure we'll get some more by the end of the day anyway.

It's not a TF stream though. It's *all of Hasbro*...

We're getting two new animated series on fairly major networks (Nick, Netflix). That's big news.

 

Given that this is an investor day presentation I doubt you'll see specific product announcements for things like Rodimus Prime or the Ark. This is a multimedia, all-brand presentation. Anything like that might just come independently later in the day.

 

To be fair- Hasbro has given a lot of love to Needlenose all things considered. It's been cheating, stingy fans who can't see past 1986 who have been the problem!

 

And the combined mode is pretty awesome when the ratchets are correct.
