I can't exactly put them on the ban list, but If I can't get to it the first week usually the price gets jacked! Unfortunately that is the nature of the beast. I can complain, but as long as they sell at that price they will keep going on doing what they do.

I understand it and personally think its fine. They arent Target, they dont get the low price per item and they know everyone will come to buy the 1 or 2 per case figs. They need to compensate for getting stuck with 8 old figs nobody wants.

Its the price you pay for knowing you can walk into a store and get the 1 per case new figure you want, as oppossed to going to Target/TRU/Walmart 15 times coming up with nothing and wasting time and gas $$.

Its perfectly fine....anyone who thinks they should be able to walk into a specialty store and get the newest and most desired figure for retail is nuts.

as long as there's a few chicago people playing it, I'll pick up mk9 probably by the weekend. granted the only mk I really got into was deadly alliance and that game was pretty much ranked as shit on a stick by all the top mk players

Going to pick up my Igear Kup head set at the post office today.

Saw yesterday at Walmart on Touhy a PCC Grimstone and a RTS Tracks. First time I saw an RTS deluxe at Walmart. Grimstone rings up at $15 if people are still looking for him.

Looks like I'm going to pull the trigger on a C9 Victory Greatshot with box and stickers unapplied and Soundwave JR. Shane, if Soundwave doesn't fit in, I'll be passing him onto you.

Went up to a pinball tourney in Kalamazoo Michigan on Saturday. Took a second in main tourney and 3rd in Classics. The kid was done in the first two rounds.   No Ted Nugent sighting out there.

So Dairycon was actually pretty awesome this past weekend. I made a good deal more $$$ than I thought I would. It was nice to be able to thin out the collection a bit though. Also, I won one of the raffles for the convention exclusive "Steers", (gears mold w/ steer horns). Very cool little figure in my opinion. Also got the "actionmaster ravage" preregistrant exclusive, but it's rather meh at best. Its just an actual microcassette with stickers making it look like ravage. I'll post pics up later today if you guys are interested in seeing them.
