Found the 35th Anniversary display at Richton Park Walmart. So odd that we didn't get one at the New Lenox Walmart (I'm never surprised since how bad their Transformers selection is all the time) so it was either drive to Orland Hills or Richton, and boy was it a pain in the ass as the lady in the toy department had no clue where the display was setup. Guess they are placing these in the Christmas toys section and not the standard toys section.

I was able to pickup Soundblaster and Bluestreak. Passing on Megatron and Optimus as I am waiting on the Earthrise versions, have so many version of both already.

 

Has anyone spotted SS-44? I'm tempted to have a familiar track him down for me

 

I've seen him at Rosemont Target twice now- once I was denied sale due to the 1/1 street date, and the other time I scanned him at a scanner kiosk and he showed no price and none in stock.

 

That’s funny I saw it one time and that was back on 8/22 at Target and I had no problem buying it. I maybe saw it a couple times after and thought nothing of it. The 1/1 street date thing is news to me.

Picked up Ignitors Blitzwing and Dropkick at Tj Maxx for $9.99 each. I missed out on both earlier in the year. Good luck toy hunting.

 

Update: Even though my Walmart took down the 35 anniversary end cap, whatever was left over from it is over in the actual Transformers section. I don’t know if all Walmart’s are doing that, but if they are, that means there will be more opportunities to get the 35 year stuff if you haven’t already.

there are just a few down the main isle but a bunch down the xmas toy isle that is just across the way by the clearance section. they are on the bottom shrlf towards thr back.

 

I had to go to the Richton Park Walmart, because the one near my in New Lenox never seems to have anything. They suck big time. I miss the Orland Hills and Crestwood one when I lived in Oak Forest. Granted Orland Hills is not too far, sometimes hate having to keep driving all over to find these.

Same here, I think I found mine back in August at a Target. I didn't even hesitate to get him even though I have a million Optimus Primes already.

 

So, other than Target, who carries BotBots in the STL Metro East? Malwart clearly doesn't and TRU left a void. Targets on this side of the river hasn't had new ones in a while, and I don't get over the river often.
