I'm 5'6", have glasses, an Optimus t-shirt. Of course, that may not narrow it down all that much  . Also carrying a small red drawstring bag.

 

Went to the con sunday and have to say I was floored by the number, diversity and quality of toys, pretty much any TF you cared to get old or new was for sale somewhere, picked up a few G1 odds and ends, devastator was the stand out new toy for sure, seemed especially huge, longhaul looks enormous in person.

Amazing looking toys from all ages in the display cases too.

 

BS'ed with Paul/Hired Goon, Jose(toycon shows) and Ryan from Seibertron.

Think I missed anyone else.

Swung a good deal for the Encore Sentinel Omega Supreme repaint and New Years 01 Convoy/Prime. Got a Linkin Park Soundwave cheap for the other half.

Only being able to go on Sunday at least gives u some bargaining power  

 

Show was great, so happy they finally came back to the Midwest, haha. For those of you I met on Saturday after the show, glad I got to put some faces to the screennames.

Hopefully the con comes back next year!

It was nice meeting the group of peeps yesterday! Too bad it rained out though. And otherwise for haul, got Gen. Gears (I finally found a reasonable price), TF07 Breakaway/Getaway and Jolt, and Universe 2.0 Smokescreen. Special mention goes out to Scar for TRU Sunstorm

Thanks again guys for making my first BotCon a great weekend. I had a blast. I'm putting away money starting now in hopes of maybe flying out to next years show. Although returning to Chicago would be nice  

 

Just saw on Reddit that Kroger has Combiner Wars on super clearance - $6 for the voyagers. I really wanna get a few (since I have no CW yet aside from some Legends) but the closest Kroger to me is the one in Bourbannais.

If anyone gets a chance to go out there and they have some, I'll repay you for whatever you can get me.

 

Wal Mart in Bourbannais/Kankakee had two full sets of the Stunticon Deluxe CW wave as of Friday. Both Air Raids were still hanging on the pegs.

 

Damn. I was so busy at the con all week that I didn't even think to read the boards. I missed out on meeting everyone. Next time for sure.

Had a great time at my first Botcon. The Hasbro panel and reveals were a blast. Did any of you guys get to go to the Kojin Ono panel? it was amazing! As the designer who designed the first Transformers, he showed some of the original designs for the Diaclone toys as well as some wood prototypes of the original toys! So cool, and I'm not even a Geewunner.

thanks for those photos, awesome stuff linking transformers, microman and diaclone, looks like koijin is also involved in the new masterpiece diaclone toy, awesome that takara tomy seem to have their own 'SOC' type line (the spin off from masterpiece) starting even if its lacking much metal.

Scar, I checked the kroger in Bourbonnais...not a single TF to be found. And after the storm last night, I'm surprised Kroger is still standing.

 

Unfortunately, I missed out on the panel since I could only go on Saturday (sadness), but I heard it was amazing. Really wish I had went. Thanks for the pics though! Always nice to see more behind the scenes of where everything came from. Much appreciated  

Really? That sucks, haha. Wonder where those can be found then. Yeah, that storm was really intense, sirens went off over by me but nothing touched down. Too bad about Coal City though - they just got hit, too, pretty recently.
