Just saw target had beast hunters deluxe figures on sale for $10. Generations are $14.xx. Also voyagers were either $19 or $20.

There are pretty decent coupons for Beast Hunters and Kreo stuff here: Target Coupons

So I went and checked out the new Quake Collectibles that opened up in Schaumburg recently. It's right by Keith's Komix, the next street down, address is 17 W. Weathersfield Way, Schaumburg, IL. It wasn't bad. He has a lot of stuff, though not nearly as much as the Chicago Quake. Not much Transformers, just some G1s here and there. Aaron, the owner, doesn't really follow Transformers, and even gave me a bit of a blank look when I brought up Classics. Hopefully he'll get more Transformers over time, but probably won't know what to look for. Still, nice to have a place like this out in the 'burbs. Worth a look if you have the time.

oh wow that's awesome I never have been to the chicago one but a burb option is very appreciated. I will probably frequent there at least once a week to scour for randomness.

also speaking of quake, I should have quakewave tomorrow or tuesday :)
got kiss player rodimus as part of a trade deal too :D  awesome week ahead.

oh and I broke down and got yots spreem too :lol
really happy I sold a lot of shit otherwise I probably wouldn't be getting any of these dudes. good times.

Yeah, I was planning on going out to the Chicago one, but stumbled across the announcement that the Schaumburg one had just opened this month on their Facebook page. He has more GI Joe, Star Wars, and He-Man than anything else, plus a decent amount of original TMNT, and a whole lot of random stuff. Like I said, not as much as the Chicago one, but still not bad.

I just finally scored a Legends Cosmos on ebay last night for an alright price. Been pining for that one forever, and the prices finally went down enough to justify jumping on one.

After being out and about I still did not spot the autobot discs. Anybody spot the Ramhorn set let me know. Either stash'em or buy them. I have the funds ready and available.

heh up north has been dry too. I'm sure we will be flooded with them eventually.

also target has the decepticon minions now too so it's pretty much an inevitable find....if you're patient :)

As I said before, the new Botshots are available at Melrose park TRU as of yesterday. Im surprised that I found em first. Sadly, I don't have the receipt on me, but I did take pictures of the three I purchased

I saw them last week. I'll still see if that Target still has them.

I saw them Friday morning and didn't buy any of them. Didn't know they were news.

Still trying to get over this flu from the Louiville Arcade show a couple weeks ago. Took 7th in the pinball tourney with over 200 people that entered. Also played in a Street Fighter 2 arcade tourney and won that. I played a Guile player in the finals and got a perfect on him with Ryu, lol. Going to the Midwest Gaming Classic this weekend in Brookfield, WI. They have all the home gaming consoles from Pong until now u can play and buy vintage games too. Lots of pinball too.

Went to TNA this past Thursday and had an awesome time! Had 2nd row seats where all the arial attacks happened in front of us, and almost caught Hardy's shirt and stocking! Should have went to the after party like Norman did, but one of my friends had to go home :(

I saw they had a pinball tourney, so I figured you'd be headed up, JBB.

I'm thinking of checking that out too. Might go with the missus; spend Saturday seeing the city, then hit the show on Sunday for as long as she'll tolerate. :)

FYI those online Target coupons can be copod and used more than once. I just picked up KREO Devastator and Bruticus and BH Starscream and Bulkhead for $34, taxed. Sweet.

    ........

Now I prolly won't be able to make Diarycon either now.

Another frikkin person at work out on disability....

I like overtime dammit, but I haven't had a regular schedule in weeks at this point.

Guess I keep piling anything I want into my Pile of Loot at BBTS, its shiiping when the Fort Max comes in, I won't have time to hunt much of anything.

It's alright, but not worth driving out of the city just for that when there's the superior one in Chicago. If you live out here or are in the area, then sure, it can be worth a stop. Like I said, not a lot of Transformers there right now, but maybe if more of us show up and talk about it, he'll make more of an effort to get some.

Don't think that's ethical/ legal. The retailer doesn't get reimbursed as far as I know.
